“I had read several really bad, some outlandish, reviews of this place. On a whim, my husband and I decided to see for ourselves and rent from Thrifty. Just for the adventure.Right before landing at SBA, our flight was diverted to LAX due to weather. After we landed, I called Thrifty and told them our situation, still unsure when we would arrive. Jeanette was amazing! She let me know that the office was closed but to just call with updates and she would answer. Eventually we arrived to SBA 2 hours late. We picked up our bags and waited just a couple minutes for Jannette to arrive and take us to the rental office nearby. If we hadn’t been dragging suitcases, it would’ve been an easy walk.The car we rented was clean and in great condition. It ran well. The return was easy and quick. Jannette was on top of it all and very nice. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and will absolutely rent again!”

“I was on the road and encountered an issue with a car I had rented elsewhere in California. Enterprise roadside assistance directed me to their Santa Barbara location. There I was assisted by Zach, the branch manager. He went out of his way to get me into another vehicle and on my way in a very short amount of time. Great customer service!”

“No waiting in line at SBA. Was offered a pickup which I’m fine with, especially since it only had 12 miles on it. Had to extend my drop off by 2 hours and was not charged to do so. Pickup and drop off were easy and hassle free.”

“I came to this location to exchange an EV car I got from another location when it wasn’t driving correctly. I wasn’t sure how much of a hassle it would be to swap cars and was a little stressed going in. There was a line of about 12 people ahead of me, and only one guy working at the time. It moved fast, but the one thing I noticed was the guy assigning vehicles was working efficiently. He was also treating each customer with care and patience. There was a woman ahead of me with a three-year-old in a stroller and two teenagers and I heard him upgrade them to a nicer vehicle, and was kind in talking to the toddler.After waiting a bit another woman came out to help the line move faster. Both attendants showed exemplary customer service (so much so it prompted me to write this review)and were very attentive to each of the customers. I was able to easily swap cars and was placed in one I felt far more comfortable in. I really hope the attendants working this evening (around 5pm 3/8/24) can be recognized for how good of a service they provided. I couldn’t do their job so I was very appreciative that they were able to help me out.”
