“Today, 08-14-25 about 10:30-11am my mom and I decided to launder our comforters at the new GT Laundromat next door to this Dollar Tree. While the comforters were washing, we shopped at the Dollar Tree. After 30 minutes of shopping, my mother had a medical emergency during our checkout. I had to leave the checkout station abruptly because I noticed something was wrong with my 87 year old mother as she was walking to our car, parked right out in front of the door. She collapsed in my arms! I was screaming for help and 911 while trying to hold my mom up. A vendor unloading stock and a Dollar Tree stock person quickly came to my aid. They both carried my mom into the store. One cashier was on the phone with 911.
During this very scary time, every employee at the Dollar Tree was so kind, helpful and attentive to us while we waited for fire department and paramedics. My mom was taken to the ER and released 5 hours later in good health- and a follow-up with her primary has been made.
As I was trying to sort out what to do with our laundry, the manager from GT laundry came out and told me she would dry our comforters and hold them for us to pick up later or the next day.
Too often we see, read, and hear not so good stories. Let me tell you, today proved that there are so many good people in our world ready to jump in and help. Those good samaritans helped me today in a very scary emergency! From the bottom of my heart- to the staff at Dollar Tree, the strong young man who was not a Dollar Tree employee (he was a vendor) to the cashiers who called 911, the cashier who got my mom a cold water bottle, the staff at GT Laundromat, and to Grand Terrace Fire Department, I can't thank you enough for your help and kindness today!

We stopped by a day before Easter and it was definitely crowded and kind of messy but there were store employees around picking up and trying to maintain some order. “The Waterman Discount Mall is out in San Bernardino. Parking is exactly what you would expect. When you enter, you are greeted instantly by vendor stalls and signs directing you to the restrooms and food courts. This is a high traffic area and this is reflected in floors, etc. However, nothing appears dirty. While the vendor stalls may seem repetitive,(watch repair, shoes and clothing, especially T-shirts are very popular) there is something for everyone. It is definitely a place, where if you do not have a specific destination you want to carve out a fair amount of time for exploration. I was there to go to a watch repair spot, to pick up watches that needed repair and batteries. We did have to wait (but not long, only about fifteen minutes) which gave us a little time to wander and explore. All the vendors I encountered were polite, helpful and well versed in their products. Some places even handed out business cards. While crowded. people were polite and never too close. Many vendors had hand sanitizer out and visible.”
“Ok, I'm in here frequently because I use this for my Amazon pickup spot. They have lockers where you can have Amazon leave your package. With that said, I often do a little shopping while I'm here. The prices are decent and it's like shopping at Ross.”

“I love this place, I go all the time. I guess some reviews say their food is bad, but I've never bought their food, so it's never bothered me. They have a ton of stuff, sometimes I just peruse the aisles. I've never had a problem with the employees, they're great. And they work the register pretty quickly. A lot of their stuff is overstock from other stores, so be careful what you buy! Otherwise great.”
