I've been going here for several years for different types of vehicles (old, new, 4WD, conversion van) and have nothing but great things to say. Spencer at the front desk is patient in explaining all things car-related to me (as I barely understand how to check my oil) and very honest in saying when a job it's not worth doing. Competitive prices and they won't charge you for extra stuff that the car doesn't actually needed.

“Kyle and the team at Palmer always take care of my Duramax needs. Between tricky specialized repairs to preventative maintenance like this last go around, they can do it all. They are a fan of OE parts understandably where it makes sense but also willing to entertain obviously improved 3rd party parts where OE falls flat which is what you want in an experienced shop. Most recently did my CP3 conversion kit install to get rid of a tired CP4 before it's a real problem on my LML. Thanks as always and will continue to come back.”

“Incredibly friendly and accommodating owner. I was able to get my car in for a detail the very next day after I called. Complete interior and exterior detail was $350. I had called many places in the area and this is about he same everywhere I looked. Dropped my car off first thing in the morning and picked up about 6pm. He really took his time. Also- I had my license plate rim dangling awkwardly with zip ties. Even before agreeing to the service, he helped fix this for me to lie flat on the grill. Such a wonderful gentleman. Overall amazing experience and definitely recommend!”
“Somehow Russ and Matt Martin do not have a yelp review so I thought I'd be the first. These guys are the most knowledgeable father / son dual threat to Buick V8 Nailhead engines in the entire country. They hand out a WEALTH of knowledge on their website and trust me when I say this, it becomes apparent quickly in person, they know a whole lot more. They will rebuild an engine better than factory. They have customers from all around the hemisphere. I've taken two different 1964 Buick Rivieras here for them to tune and add HP to and I'll gladly do it again. Shops like this don't hardly exist anymore. Best in the country. - Evan”

I can’t say enough good things about Nevada City Auto Service! We had a blown head gasket, and they not only fixed it perfectly but also gave us an oil change. The owner is awesome—super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, there are two sweet dogs that greet you when you arrive, which makes the whole experience even better! The prices are fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. I feel so lucky to have found this place and will definitely be back for any future car needs!”
