Karl's Smog is the best smog shop in town, known for being very fast with no appointments needed. It offers drive-up smog inspections and a very kind, honest, and helpful staff who are willing to help with easy fixes. The shop provides a free pretest and a free retest if a vehicle fails, with state certification included in the price. It does not do repairs, so there is no run around. The atmosphere is like a buddy's place, with good jams—sometimes metal—playing, plus free snacks and drinks in the waiting area. Dogs are welcome inside. Payment is flexible, accepting gold, silver, barter, and local gift certificates. Customers highly recommend it.
They failed me the first time, but were great and very quick on my second smog test.

He has smog our car and truck for years. Fast, reliable. I have use appointment (on time) and just stop by also. No a long wait. One time he was stacked up with car and told me time to come back. I did and he was ready for me. Great work, friendy and good customer service. I will use him before I go any where else.
