“Hey, this is a great example of a community original project that works. And has worked. They do work. They carry their own insurance. They are not dickering around and they state - quite clearly - what they charge. Bring some pics or a clip of your task and the hiring can go quickly. Highly recommended.”

“I've yet to pick up my four legged partner.
But this has been a nice take, since looking for my new partner.
My older Girl,(rhodesian ridgeback) passed away from a front leg issue.
I kept hoping for the best. But my girl slipped into the hereafter.
I'm still heartbroken over losing my girl.
But, there's still time to enjoy a new pal.
I can't wait to meet my partner!”

“Remarkable place. They have a deep commitment to helping wildlife that have fallen afoul of roads and cars, power lines, fishing gear, people, and human food. Not to mention all the myriad diseases and stresses that wildlife deal with daily. And they take these broken, hurt, and sick animal and do their best to bring them back to health, rehabilitate them, and return them back into the wild health again and ready to succeed. Wonderful, committed people there. Consider taking a tour (they're not open to casually stopping by) and then consider volunteering there.”

“Good multi-use performance space. All sight lines are good, the area is high and open, but smaller - seats approx 100 max. Acoustics (natural and amplified) were distortion and echo free. Staff is helpful, professional, and friendly.”

“The TSA has always been there for communities around the world. Always the same. Always reliable, always with a heart for those in need. 85 cents of every dollar contributed to the Salvation Army goes to helping those in need from disasters to changing lives from addiction. To seniors in need of food to supplement their fixed incomes to kids that need supplies for school. Thank God for the Salvation Army.”

“My sister. who is severely handicapped, has gone to BI since its inception over 40 years ago. She loves going there and if anyone is not good to her she would let me know. It makes her heart sing. She looks forward to going back when in-person services are available. I emphasize with the parents who have written the other reviews who feel that that their children are not getting what they would hope post their school system experience. As a former high-up school system administrator, please understand the BI gets about 25% of the revenue to serve you child that the schools receive. BI's employees don't have the salary, benefits, retirement system of the schools so BI cannot retain them in the same way. This is not to say that you should not want your child to flourish as an adult. But there is only so much BI can be expected to do under the circumstances. I think that BI is fundamentally a good organization and hope that you, like me, will donate to it. It is the best option available that I know of in the market it serves.”

“I was running out of time for getting my taxes done. For financial reasons I could not go to my usual tax preparer. I called 211 and made an appointment with United Way of the Wine Country to have them done at no charge. I was not the only one. Several people were getting them done by volunteers. These people are very caring and knowledgeable. The preparer helping me took his time and explained everything as he went along. When he was done he had a designated expert go over everything he did for accuracy. I was very happy with the result. My refund was much higher than I expected it would be. I plan on returning next year.”

“The best crab feed in the US!!! I've had this event on my bucket list and I finally had an opportunity to attend. It did not disappoint. The event starts in the hall of flowers with 2 hours of food, wine and beer tasting along with a silent auction and live music. Next comes the main event...the amazing crab feed dinner. I would recommend reserving a table of 10 as it is a fantastic experience. It may be a bit pricey but well worth the splurge. I am already looking forward to next year's event.”

“Taxes done efficiently and professionally by caring welcoming staff. First time user worth the drive of nearly an hour.
The Building does need better signage.
Despite Google, I had to drive around a bit to find it. And heard others claim the same problem. Maybe just a sandwich board out near the roadway? Especially during tax time or meetings?”

“Of all things looking for a knob on top of a glass lid for a pot that came broken as a Christmas gift. Found the perfect item and the staff were kind enough to find a screwdriver and help us harvest the part and recycle the rest. Maybe not a Christmas miracle but a nice little find and nice people. If I lived here at shop here more often. Thank you!”
