“Driving into Vinarosa I knew right away we had picked the right place. Gorgeous grounds. Lush garden vibe. So many different flowers and shrubs we could not name half of them. Beautiful colors and pleasant fragrance.

Service was first class. Professional and friendly.

There is a 1.1 mile trail through the vineyard that I took advantage of daily.

“Great weekend getaway spent here. Plenty of amenities enjoyed. The pool, spa, outdoor games and movie with campfire s'mores made for a fun day. This location is near the beach and plenty of restaurants. Rooms were clean and spacious that felt cozy with the fireplace. They really thought of the little things here to make our stay enjoyable.

“This small-town arts and event center is a gem, set in beautiful west Sonoma County. The array of shows and wide taste in music is remarkable. The art gallery is charming. Set on the north edge of the village of Occidental. We’re so lucky to have it. Only 35 minutes drive west of Santa Rosa.”

“I would have given 5 stars, 'cause it's a terrific venue. My problem is : over the last year or so, I've gone to 2 events in the evening. BOTH TIMES I drove on College right past it & ended up miles down the road .... there is NO LIGHT on the Finley sign. It's all pitch black. I've talked to others who've had that problem... “Called in about a trail ride earlier in the week for the weekend, and Dawn was able to squeeze us in. Little did I know that she was handling the clerical work, riding lesson, and the ride/tour from start-to-finish.

The horses are sweet and quirky, and very used to working with new riders. Between the horses and Dawn's guidance, my hesitation for actually getting to ride was gone in the thirty minute crash course.

Even as a complete newbie, they put you in charge of riding your horse and you are privileged with being in control and managing your place on the trail ride. The trust they give you even as someone completely new is empowering; just make sure you follow instructions!

A lot of their programs are geared towards younger people, but it's never too late to try something new. If you are at all nervous about trying something like this, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot!”
