“Tim's Treads is the real deal. Tim felt like a family friend from the moment I walked in, taking the time to walk me through the best tire options for my car instead of just upselling me. His team also caught that I needed an alignment and called in a favor to get me seen the same day. As a new car owner, I really appreciated feeling looked after rather than just another customer. Highly recommend!”
“A flat tire comes at the most opportune times. This place is awesome and they have always been able to fit me in with short notice, do great work, are super trustworthy and reliable. Would highly recommend them.”
“When it comes to sudden auto problems, I never want to be a pain in the neck for auto mechanic shops (esp as a new customer with no rapport yet). Justin is graceful, accommodating, patient & informative. The crew work their butts off to get everybody done, and seem to keep their cool. It built confidence and trust, especially as they had my car for 4 days, with a power outage on day 1. A+ to A&I ??”
“I’ve been taking my 95 BMW to JP for a while now and he’s been dependable and fixes what is needed vs finding new stuff to fix on my car!! He also appears to use quality parts and fix things properly. Like all of you, I’ve had bad experiences at other shops and dealerships selling me on repairs I don’t need, but JP seems honest and helpful in contrast.”
“10 out of 10! Max was terrific! Treated me very well. I asked for an OTD price for a cash purchase and I didn't even haggle due to it being a very fair price! I have purchased from Mercedes of San Francisco and Marin is by far a better dealership! Ace in finance was terrific as well, even treated me with respect even though I didn't add all of the warranty extras, etc. I will do all my business with this dealership and recommend them to my friends. Great job everyone!”
“My car had an unexpected problem and I was set to leave on a road trip. Dean fit me in, did the repair and we were able to get on the road. Super great service! Thank you!”
“Such a great experience here! Elias, his dad and the whole team were incredibly knowledgeable, honest and kind. Truly a great neighborhood find. Bonus points for the sweetest dog, Jax, as the welcomer :).”
“My friend recommended this place during a time of need I got a nail in my tire and I was having a bad morning start, anyways they took care me of and I will highly recommend this friendly professional place to my friends and family as well!”
“I put new tires at Toscalito Tire & Automotive in San Rafael.
Work was fast, they give me discount and price better than other shops.
Very good place, I happy with service.”
“Barr’s Cars is the best place in Marin to get work done on your car, Hands down!! Danny, Lisa, and Geraldo are very welcoming and perform incredible work. Their prices are good and their work is efficient. You won’t be disappointed if you come here.”
“Was having trouble with my car passing smog, Curtis took a look at it and suggested I go a bit of a cheaper route (which was obviously helpful) and that fixed the issue! They are straight shooters, honest, knowledgeable, and reliable! Can’t suggest this company enough, any future problems I will not think twice about taking my car here!”
“Still the OG of tires in San Rafael. Competitive pricing and excellent customer service since they are smaller. While I was there A1 Autoworks and Hi Tec Auto dropped off cars, so still well regarded by the pros.”
“I have owned Healeys for over 60 years and it is becoming very difficult to find experienced, knowledgeable shops who know British cars. Clint and his crew are terrific, fair, and share their knowledge of what they do and why on every occassion. My go to place for whatever ails my vehicles.”
“I’ve been to this tire shop in Marin a bunch of times, and I’ve always had a great experience. They’re super professional and always take care of me. I highly recommend them!”
“I had a suspected coolant leak in my Mercedes GLC300 (A warning message kept popping up on the display console).
They ran all the tests and could not find any problem. The likely cause was insufficient coolant was added during the last major service a couple of months ago. Coolant topped up and no new warning messages. No charge for this check up.
Excellent customer service.”
“Absolutely the best service I’ve ever gotten at a tire shop. They had to collect all seven of the legendary dragon balls for me to leave the shop because it’s the service was that good!”
“They were excellent they came early and worked fast and I recommended all my friends and family to come the best place ever for business, professional and support”
“Wonderful experience, as usual. Been getting tires from Cains, a family owned shop, for over 20 years. Brian was especially helpful and generous. Fair price.
Reasonably fast turnaround. It's like having a brand new car! Highly recommend.”
“the best service car dealer and service,
specially sergio is very professional and helpful service manager. love it!!!
thank you being service always:)))”
“In my humble opinion, this is the best auto mechanic in Marin. I’ve been using them for almost 10 years. They provide consistently excellent service. I’ve never had a problem. Moreover, they have managed to find and resolve problems for friends I have referred, who were told by other mechanics that the problem was too difficult to diagnose or too expensive to resolve. Most importantly, they have fair pricing and they are trustworthy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.”
“I have been coming to Luis since he had his first little spot on east Fransisco Blvd, like more than 15 years ago. My brother recommended him and my whole family had come to Luis ( most family is passed now) when my grandmother brought her car in Luis always gave her a ride home and picked her when her car was ready. He also would give my mother one of his trucks to use if she needed while he worked on her car. I have had many cars in the years and brought every one of them here. My front bumper kept ripping off of my 2002 vw jetta and Luis would always screw it back on for free. Luis always explains the problem to me so I understand. Years ago my car needed a tire but I couldn't get my car to his shop(couldn't afford to tow it) so he came to me and took the tire with him and spent half the day looking for a good tire. At that time I believe he didn't do tire work. He found a good used tire and put it on my car for a very good price. When ever I need a oil change him or one of his guys always has time to do it. I highly recommend this place! I only wish to see more of Luis at the San Rafael shop.”
“Honest reliable work done every visit!!Simply the best in Marin n Sonoma counties. Sean sets a very high standard as how to properly run an automobile repair business!!”
“My first time to use Toscalito. It was a text book description of perfection. Fast, knowledgeable, amazing customer service , work completed on time. I will always use them in the future. Did I mention their prices were better than most but I would now use them even if they were more. Very professional”
“I had to get an unexpectedly expensive repair in a short time frame, and Daniel and Sam and everyone at Easy Automotive were so patient, understanding, and thorough. They are the kindest mechanics you will ever meet, completely trustworthy, and generous. Take your car here, you won't regret it!”
“WOW, what an amazing place!! I got a nail in my tire, noticed it this morning at work, called, brought it in during lunch, tada FIXED in like 10min. Wonderful and superb. So happy I chose them to buy tires from!”
“Best service!! In town visiting and discovered a puncture at 4:15pm. We called in hoping they could fix it, and within 30 mins we we’re on our way following the repair. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Amazing service!!”
“Big O Tires in San Rafael made getting my car serviced easy and affordable. I was able to make my appointment online. When I got to the shop they took my car in right away. The service provider was nice and easy going. The price was clearly explained. They performed the tire patch, tire rotation and oil change quickly. I very much recommend Big O Tires for servicing.”

“Honest and reliable - what else could you ask for? Nick was great and kept us informed throughout the process. He was patient and dealt w/ the AAA tow company when they were called out again. Highly recommend mellow motors for servicing and auto repairs.”
