The Groveland Hotel is a charming, historic, and quaint inn, offering a cozy stay with old world charm. It is a nicely renovated historic building, updated with modern conveniences like clean and comfy beds, AC, TVs, WiFi, and private bathrooms. Some rooms can feel cramped, reflecting the building's age, but they include amenities like a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotel is very clean and reasonably priced.
Its friendly staff provides warm hospitality and excellent communication, going above and beyond for guests and events. The location is great, right next door to the Iron Door Saloon for food, drinks, pool, and entertainment, and it is only about a 45-minute drive from Yosemite, making it a highly recommended base for visiting the park or activities like white water rafting.
On-site dining is available, with fantastic food and amazing drinks, though the morning continental breakfast is noted as pretty sparse. The overall experience is seamless and highly recommended, with many guests eager to return.
I love the history of the hotel and it's about 30 minutes from the SW entrance to Yosemite. The rooms are somewhat restored to older periods and were ample. There is no elevator service so if you are on the upper floor you will climb narrow stairs.

I enjoyed this hotel. It is a beautifully restored Adobe building. It is a little noisy as it is located right on the highway but that did not bother me. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the back patio evening and morning. Close proximity to all cute shops, cafes and restaurants. The only thing we were bummed about was only being able to stay one night. We will definitely be back!
