“Very special location with a beautiful pool, a nice restaurant, and enthusiastic staff. We really enjoyed our time here. However, for a premium price, I would expect activities or entertainment to be included, rather than having to pay extra — especially for something like stargazing. Also, the shared toilets near the tents were insufficient in number and not clean. Overall, we had a fun stay, but there’s room for improvement.”

“We had a magical experience at Rush Creek Lodge & Spa thanks to the incredible kindness of Noah, the restaurant manager. Traveling late at night with four tired and hungry kids near Yosemite, we were overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Even though we weren’t lodge guests, Noah went out of his way to make sure our family was fed—preparing a delicious and comforting meal that saved the night for us. His warmth, generosity, and grace left a lasting impression. Because of him, we can’t wait to return—this time as guests of the lodge. Thank you, Noah, for your heart and hospitality. “Good place ! We were there in February, don’t forget to heat the place before going to sleep, we didn’t and at some point in the night it was very cold. The lay at the desk was friendly. I recommend the place if you are going to Yosemite.”

“We spent three nights at Hotel Charlotte in Groveland and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who took the time to give us all the important information – including great tips for visiting Yosemite National Park.
The hotel is small, family-run, and incredibly cozy. It has a rustic charm that feels authentic and full of character. We felt right at home from the very first moment.
We especially appreciated the little touches, like free parking and the shared common area where you can use a microwave, kettle, and fridge – perfect after a long day exploring the park.
In the evenings, we had lovely conversations with the owner, which made the experience even more special. The personal atmosphere truly sets this hotel apart.
We were absolutely delighted by the whole experience and would return anytime. A clear recommendation for anyone visiting Yosemite who values warmth, character, and a personal touch!
