We had dinner at Gateway Tapas & Spirits, it was very good. The spicy margaritas were great and the chicken and farfalle dishes were yummy. We will definitely return!

Quirky, small rooms, difficult to open locks, non functional heater/cooler, but.... if you want a taste of what it was like to stay in a hotel in the early 20th century, this is it.

What a delightful little hotel. Is it a modern hotel - not at all. Does it have fancy amenities - not at all. But doe that matter - not at all - because it is a perfect stop on the way to Yosemite. A great historical building in Groveland. Finn is a great host - full of useful tips on how to explore Yosemite.
