“This place is so amazing with so many different textures and fabrics! The ideas that flows through especially from the owner is so amazing and exciting! Her ideas are so much better than Pinterest and my friend and I got a front row seat to the owner's process of how she determines which fabric goes with what. I learned of bridge colors and oh man, that is going to help me a lot when it comes to my own sewing projects. Visiting the store and hearing about the owner's ideas is a wonderful birthday gift I could've ever asked for. I'm already planning my next trip up! I love the selections!! Especially the doggy ones. 🥹”
“I was about to invest in a fancy printer, when I found Dave and his service. What a gentleman. He handles all my print/scan needs with discretion and haste. Friendly, cost-effective, convenient, and no need for a huge appliance at home.”
“Todd, our sales representative, allowed us to have a great experience. We made a great decision on a mattress because of his knowledge and ability to point us in the right direction. In five years, when we’re ready for another great buying experience, we’ll be back because of experts like Todd. Thank you Todd and Christian’s Mattress Express 😊❤”
“You must go and meet Cynthia, the owner. She beautiful and funny. She has quality items and you’ll regret it if you don’t stop by to check out her little treasures.”
“Our new loveseat was delivered this morning. Jack was helpful, friendly, and professional. They got everything done without a hitch and without any wasted time. The whole process with Idlers was easy and enjoyable.”
“Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jose from Chic Interiors when he dropped by my gym for a workout while visiting from California. We ended up chatting about the layout of our front desk area (something I’ve been wanting to redesign for a while now) and his eye for design is incredible. He gave the absolute best recommendations, and I can’t wait to see how everything looks once the project is finished! Thank you so much for the expert advice, Jose. You’re more than welcome to drop in for a workout anytime you’re back in town!”
“I searched a long time for the right leather chairs for my living room. I wanted both comfort, style and timeless pieces in my old house with dark leather couches and a mix of old world antiques. It was very challenging until I walked into Modelhom. Immediately they made me feel comfortable in the store and I knew instantly they just wanted to help me with my dilemma. Their furniture is beautiful. Everything is comfortable and if I could afford it, I would replace all of my furniture, but I only wanted two chairs to add to my eclectic collective. I finally settled on two recliners by FJORDS and I have never been more thrilled with the butter soft comfort and how they light up my living space. The Family owned and operated business treats you like family and want only the best for you. Zoe was my stylist and was incredibly patient, understanding and kind throughout my decision process and the follow-through after the chairs arrived. So if you’re looking for quality with extraordinary customer service, head to Modelhom.”
“Tracy and his team have helped us plan and set up our office (and our former office) to meet our current needs. Most recently they reconfigured our current office to accommodate our growing staff in 2025. They have offer great value (both in products and service) and they are the go to vendor we use of office planning and furniture.”
“An AMAZING team to work with - from owner to sales designers in the showrooms. I continuously work alongside this team for a large and ongoing hospitality project - communication, pricing and product is 10/10.”
“Warm greeting when we went in and the employees were so friendly. We were visiting the area and they shared about the surrounding cities. Store had lots of items to help ELEVATE your home. Candles that smelled so clean, living room decor, or just ideas on how to decorate areas of your home that you've been stuck on.”
“Love this place! Huge selection of painted tiles and the furniture is amazing--I just wish my house was big enough to accommodate it (most of it is pretty massive). Lots of cool Mexican statuary and dishes. Always fun to visit, even if it's just to dream! Everyone there is super nice, too.”

“Made a first time purchase for a dryer. Shelley was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable, she is an amazing people person and is great at what she does. We will be back because of her.”
“I recently ordered three standard-size DVD cases from Decibel Designs and was really impressed with the quality, clean craftsmanship, sturdy construction, and clear attention to detail you don't often find in off-the-shelf products. I liked them so much that I went back and asked for a custom DVD case, and that's when I really got to see master craftsman Peter Bultman's skill shine. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a piece that exceeded my expectations. The fit and finish were incredibly refined, and it was clear a lot of care and pride went into the work. Beyond the product itself, the whole experience was excellent: great communication, reasonable turnaround, and genuine passion for the craft. If you need incredibly well-made physical media cases, whether standard or custom, or other cabinetry pieces, I'd highly recommend Decibel Designs. Five stars!”
“One of my husband's and I favorite stores! Angie is very sweet and she will always try her best to hook you up! The store name speaks for itself so if you're looking for anything at all, you'll find it here! Thank you for being kind ?”
“Being a 33 year resident of the Central Coast I can remember when The Village was remembered for it's quaint Branch Street architecture, suspension bridge and annual festivals. A transformation occurred over the past several years and where it used to be primarily filled with antique shops and mom-and-pop style restaurants. Nearly nine years ago the Village welcomed Willis and Bennett Furniture and Decor for the Home and its owners Julie and Greg. After that the Village has become quite diverse with new restaurants and shops popping up all of the time. I would like to say that Willis and Bennett had a hand in showing folks a quality boutique could thrive! Located in a quaint storefront that extends all the way through and opens to an enclosed porch facing the Gazebo and Bridge, Julie and Greg hand select the gifts, furnishings and home accents from around the world. As a result you will find things like one-of-a-kind jewelry at affordable price points, glassware, sandals, monogrammed canvas bags, armoires, dining tables, love seats, benches and SO much more. When you visit, don't rush through. There are too many things to miss if you walk to quickly! This is one of my go-to stops for girlfriend birthday gifts that are distinctive and unlike anything I might find in SLO County. I can also, surprisingly, always find something for my mom -- even though her taste tends to the ultra-modern -- there are many pieces that can acclimate to any decor. At Christmas time the store is a treasure trove of beautiful decor items and ornaments that I like to leave out all year long they are so unique and exquisite! As previous reviewers have mentioned, this boutique is one that cannot be over-looked on a visit to anywhere in the Five Cities. And like I said, take your time! Every corner, every shelf, and all but a narrow path through the store are filled with items you just won't want to skip!”
“Cal deals was an excellent shopping experience. All of the sales people were very helpful and well informed and very personable. Thank you all Chris, Sherry & Danielle for doing such a great job !”
“I’d like to give a well-earned shout of praise for Caren DeBruhl’s knowledge, kindness and care. Donna’s Interiors of Arroyo Grande has chosen well, Caren, for her integrity and warmth. She not only sold me two chairs but a lamp, sofa and desk. Caren hardly does a thing for the sale. The furniture sells itself. Donna’s is the best.”
“Great service! We needed to replace some sofas that were falling apart. We didn't have the ability to move them ourselves atm. Stylehouse had the goods in stock and delivered them the next day. Plus they removed the old furniture. We got all of this for a grand total that came out a little below the prices of local competition.”
“First time visit today with my daughter, lots of overpriced TJ max items minus the clothing. Overall had fun looking around, some clearance items also. I found a good deal on bamboo cooking utensils. That's it.”
“I think the checker who helped me out was Anor or Anouor? I think her name tag had Farsi on it. Anyway, she did a great job checking me out and I would totally wait in a longer line to be in her line next time. Way to go A! She really went above and beyond for me.”
“Juan and Albeto did a good job making sure not to damage any of the furniture moving thru the doorway. They arranged the love seats and were patient and helpful completing the final billing. Very friendly and courteous. We all had smiles.”

Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
Wayfair is testing a new, smaller store design. The online home furnishings giant, famous for its endless digital catalog, is trying a different strategy for its physical locations. The company announced plans to open a smaller prototype store in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for late 2026. Located next to the Polaris Fashion Mall, the new space will span approximately 70,000 square feet.
Online furniture giant Wayfair is setting up shop in Atlanta with plans for a huge 150,000-square-foot store opening in 2026. The new location will take over the former Walmart space at The District at Howell Mill shopping center. This marks Wayfair's second big store, following its first location that opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024.
