“This place is so amazing with so many different textures and fabrics! The ideas that flows through especially from the owner is so amazing and exciting! Her ideas are so much better than Pinterest and my friend and I got a front row seat to the owner's process of how she determines which fabric goes with what. I learned of bridge colors and oh man, that is going to help me a lot when it comes to my own sewing projects. Visiting the store and hearing about the owner's ideas is a wonderful birthday gift I could've ever asked for. I'm already planning my next trip up! I love the selections!! Especially the doggy ones. 🥹”

“I searched a long time for the right leather chairs for my living room. I wanted both comfort, style and timeless pieces in my old house with dark leather couches and a mix of old world antiques. It was very challenging until I walked into Modelhom. Immediately they made me feel comfortable in the store and I knew instantly they just wanted to help me with my dilemma. Their furniture is beautiful. Everything is comfortable and if I could afford it, I would replace all of my furniture, but I only wanted two chairs to add to my eclectic collective. “we needed some fencing supplies for a project and stopped in here thinking it would jusy be a quick trip. the guys at the lumber counter were super helpful, they even looked up exactly what we needed on thier computer insstead of making us guess. we ended up spending more time looking around than we planned becuase they have a lot of random stuff in the back. grabbed some chicken feed and a few pumkin plants on the way out which were way smaller than i expected but they look good. definately going back for more supplies next time

“Amazing in every way! You can tell that these products are made with care. I am highly sensitive to scents and cannot handle most candles due to headaches. Their nontoxic properties make it possible for me to enjoy the soft glow and aromas that I have missed. My daughter attended the summer camp and LOVED it. Not only was it affordable but she has learned skills that she continues to use and found new creative outlets. She has made all of her friends macrame bracelets and made new friends bc of her craft. We have body lotions, car diffusers, soaps, scalp oil treatment, body sugar scrubs, and sunscreen. We love it all! GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU!”

“Being a 33 year resident of the Central Coast I can remember when The Village was remembered for it's quaint Branch Street architecture, suspension bridge and annual festivals. A transformation occurred over the past several years and where it used to be primarily filled with antique shops and mom-and-pop style restaurants. Nearly nine years ago the Village welcomed Willis and Bennett Furniture and Decor for the Home and its owners Julie and Greg. After that the Village has become quite diverse with new restaurants and shops popping up all of the time. I would like to say that Willis and Bennett had a hand in showing folks a quality boutique could thrive! Located in a quaint storefront that extends all the way through and opens to an enclosed porch facing the Gazebo and Bridge, Julie and Greg hand select the gifts, furnishings and home accents from around the world. As a result you will find things like one-of-a-kind jewelry at affordable price points, glassware, sandals, monogrammed canvas bags, armoires, dining tables, love seats, benches and SO much more. When you visit, don't rush through. There are too many things to miss if you walk to quickly! This is one of my go-to stops for girlfriend birthday gifts that are distinctive and unlike anything I might find in SLO County. I can also, surprisingly, always find something for my mom -- even though her taste tends to the ultra-modern -- there are many pieces that can acclimate to any decor. At Christmas time the store is a treasure trove of beautiful decor items and ornaments that I like to leave out all year long they are so unique and exquisite! As previous reviewers have mentioned, this boutique is one that cannot be over-looked on a visit to anywhere in the Five Cities. And like I said, take your time! Every corner, every shelf, and all but a narrow path through the store are filled with items you just won't want to skip!”

“Ross is the equivalent of shopping at a garage sale. Each store is different. You never know what you might find, but if you look hard enough, you might find a great deal, and sometimes you might come up empty.
And the shoppers come from all backgrounds, so don't think you are above it all, because I've seen people dressed like homeless people shopping and I've seen people dressed out in labels or fake labels trying to be high class in a Ross.
Truth is, if you want to save a penny, it's time to Ross hop till you find what you need or want.”
