“this place has so many things to offer seniors to assist seniors I'm new here and they're very friendly they'll help with so many things I mean they offered me help with my dog when I was going to be out of town they have so many programs and they have a very nice kitchen and they are very good food and lots of activities and things to get us involved and to help us with technology and they just they have a newsletter that you get every month they have trips they take us to the store it's just a really nice senior center”

“Living here was overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The management (Sabrina and Charlie) and maintenance teams were very responsive and did an excellent job of addressing any concerns. If you can tour and like what you see, I would recommend living here. Pros: - Staff - Value (my unit had in-unit laundry, though not all units do) - Parking availability for guests - Proximity to Safeway and Waterdog Park Cons: - Distance from 101 and public transit - Older establishment (nothing is too jank, so not an issue if you’re able to tour in person and are okay with it) - Poor noise isolation. I was never bothered by my neighbors, but it will probably be an issue if you want to have frequent social gatherings.”

“Park Place San Mateo is a beautiful property to live at. They have recently reinvested a ton into the property and it is an absolute gorgeous place to walk and explore. The staff is incredibly friendly. Mike Is always super responsive when it comes to service requests and John And his staff is amazing at addressing any concerns residence may have. I highly recommend Park Place San Mateo.”

“My wife and I have lived here for a few years now. Started out in a one bedroom, then moved to a two bedroom when we were expecting. Fast forward to now, having 2 kids, we are still enjoying our residency. Rolando, our maintenance guy has been amazing. He's been so responsive, kind and great at what he does. He is very courteous and always easy to talk to. The building is kept clean and safe and any concern is usually addressed in a timely fashion. Only con I can think of would be annual rent increases but I'd imagine that's the same elsewhere.”

“Bonnie Brae Terrace is a great place for seniors to live independently. The rooms are nice, they include two meals a day, and they accommodate people with disabilities. They have an amazing team, and Makel (the adsistant manager) was extremely helpful and patient throughout the whole process. Everyone there so far seems really nice and helpful. They even have a social worker on site who helps connect seniors with all kinds of resources. I would definitely recommend this place for seniors. They even have movie nights!”

“I'm not normally a reviewer, but I've seen a negative review or two for this place and I wanted to just combat that a bit because I feel it's unwarranted. I've lived here for about 9 months. I moved in last July after looking for a bigger place. I first met the property manager (Andrea) on my initial visit. She was helpful and informative and really made me feel like she was excited for me to come live here. From the first day I moved in I've been happy. I love my neighbors. I love the park across the street. I love how most are dog or cat owners and love saying hi to you in passing. I've made great friends here already. If there's an issue with your apartment (luckily I've only had one), Andrea is a text away and is extremely responsive. She's also kind and flexible. It doesn't make sense for me to hear anything but. I can't tell you enough how amazing she's been and how happy I am living here. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone and am excited to live here for years to come.”

“Fantastic Apartments, great staff that really goes out of their way to be helpful and located within short walking distance to the heart of San Mateo with all the great shops and restaurants. One block walk to the train station and major hospital and Urgent Care across the street. This is really the prime location to live in San Mateo.”

“Been here for a few years and so far I’ve had a great experience! The building is clean, views from the building are great, and the staff is super nice and helpful! Maintenance requests are always done quickly and well! for example, I put in a request last Friday, within an hour Jorge from maintenance came up and resolved the issue. He was very friendly and efficient . The building is also very pet friendly. Maria always greets my dog and creates a very friendly environment. Overall, great place to live at!”
