βVery clean and huge selection of items! Came to buy 3 things but got out with like 10 items. As of now (2025), the price has changed to $2.25 for items that don't have price tags.β
βI feel like this daiso location has cheaper prices than the other surrounding locations. This store was very clean there was a lot of employees stocking items on the shelf. Also helped that there was self checkout to purchase items, I feel like that made the transaction smoother.β

βThe workers are very kind and itβs a great discount store for everyday stuff like extension cords, tools, pet food, school supplies, kitchen appliances, detergent, soap, etc. and even some groceries like cheese, eggs, chorizo, and tortillas.β
βAlways something new to find. On this trip they had cinnabon, cinnamon rolls 4 in a pack for $1.99. 5 minutes in the air fryer and they taste just like the mall spot.β

If you are an artsy person, I love coming her for at items. It's not overly huge, but you have plenty of choices. Markers to paint to canvases.
Book lovers, coloring book lovers, come get it! You won't be disappointed.

βThe most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.β
βGreat dollar store. Better than ours in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their selection of razors are higher end ... Very good. Store is very clean and organized. In the bay area.... We are fighting homeless for product. Interesting thing.... The homeless walk out without paying.... And the rest of us are standing in line to pay. What a great experience in the Southland.

βI came into this DD's to find address for Christmas party. I know a lot of people wouldn't think of DD's when it comes to getting a dress for a Christmas party. I actually found two, they were both nice only to come home and find out I didn't have shoes to go with either. Therefore I didn't end up wearing either one of them. But the best thing is if I have somewhere else to go I already have two dresses. For the purchase of the two dresses I don't think I spent over $25β

βMy kids and I enjoy coming here and grabbing some blankets. I went here just the other day. And although my Spanish is seriously rust, she remembers us from a couple years ago... she was explaining not to long ago my boys were much smaller than now. That interaction alone meant the world to me- like minded individuals that stop and be present like this staff member and myself....
Its all about connection and where the individual feels most comfortable-

Leaving a review on a grocery store, WILLLDDD but I have a secret I can't gatekeep any longer :0 A little out of the way (like three whole darn gosh hours uugghhhhh) But they have something that no one else has. And trust me I've looked everywhere. You remeber those bags of milk they gave you at elementary school? Well what if a little birdie (me it's me! I'm the little petite birdy) told you there's something BETTER (shhhh let's keep it a dirty little secret between us ;)THEY HAVE BAGS OF MAYO. And I thought the same thing as you. GROSS. βLocated Peninsula Shopping Center, Five Below is a specialty discount gift shop chain that prices most of its products between $1.00 - $5.00, with some exceptional finds $5+.
My son goes to Cantonese school across the street, & one of the moms mentioned there's a cute graphic tee that's perfect for our growing Chinese momentum: You're All That & Dim Sum! The tees section was quite large with lots to choose from. I got the dim sum tee for my 8 YO son, & also saw another tee (born to game forced to work... LMAO) that perfectly describes his latest transgression from studying, though there's not much to study or homework for that matter in elementary school.
There's also toys & games, beauty products, candies & snacks, books, etc. They're similar to other discount stores like Dollar Tree & Daiso, but on the higher price tier with more variety & trend-focused products for the younger set.
Customer service is efficient & friendly. I only waited a few minutes with a handful of people ahead of me. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center based on its location & doesn't compete much for spaces with the anchor stores or restaurants.
Five Below is a great alternative for the bargain shopper! And now that the holidays are here... check 'em out for gift giving ideas.β

βIt's always a treasure hunt, but this is better than a needle and a haystack. Every aisle seems to have something that's unconventional to other stores but in a good way and or at a great price. Sometimes they have conventional items at a quarter or half the cost of normal, but only as supplies lasts.β
