“I communicated with Leslie from Customer Service who assisted me with an exchange. I purchased a motorcycle jacket liner that was too big and I sent it back in exchange for a smaller size. The company's policy is to inspect the item to be exchanged before they send the new item. The exchange is facilitated through the USPS and it takes many days for packages to travel between California and Florida. I asked Leslie if there was a way to speed up the process because of an upcoming motorcycle trip, and she told me that I could purchase a new jacket liner and the exchanged liner's status would be reclassified as a return and they would forego the $10 return fee the company charges. Exchange items are free and a returned item includes a $10 fee. Although you can only contact the company through email correspondence, I found them responsive and willing to accommodate my needs. Thank you very much Leslie and Venture Heat.”

“This might be long winded, but necessary to express how impressed and thankful I am for this company. I am a novice at ordering equipment but read reviews online on places to order gloves and equipment. So I placed my order online thru their website, after doing much research prior.
The gentleman called me to give me a status of my order, then proceeded to give me a much needed history lesson on all the top glove manufacturers out of Thailand. “I stumbled upon these guys when I wandered into a surf shop with my kids in Rhode Island, and I spotted a thick long-sleeved surf T shirt that reminded me of the kind I wore when I was a kid. It quickly became a staple of the summer wardrobe.
Fast-forward to Christmas: My nephew just moved to LA and requested clothing that reflected a more California lifestyle. I have no idea what Gen Z is wearing in LA, but I know of a great California surf shop that might do the trick. My nephew loved the gifts so much, he started them wearing minutes after opening his presents. So, it turns out great beach clothing can cross generations.
These guys clearly are detail oriented. They’re a throwback to a time when people cherished favorite articles of clothing and those shirts or shorts would last years.
True, styles change but the desire for something comfortable after a long day at the beach never does, at least for the people who truly love the beach.
I will caution, though, communication is one way with these guys. Two emails went unanswered in a week, and I gave up ever getting a response. Whatever. The clothing is too good to hold it against them, and what do you expect? They’re surfers. They’re probably at the beach.”

“I recently have started on my journey to surf and as a mom brought my little guy on for the journey. Griffin has been a wealth of knowledge from surf lesson recommendations to starter options for my toddler.
The service is great and as someone who sees the quality of the garments and apparel in store is great. There are different options depending on whether you will be surfing, swimming or just taking a stroll by the beach.

Store is well organized and clean, although the AC system was leaking when I was there and they had a kiddie pool on the floor to collect water. Hopefully that gets fixed soon!
The employees were somewhat distracted with the leak, so not very helpful. The cashier up front looked miserable and was genuinely surprised when I said I would give him my email to save 10%.”

“What a wonderful experience I had. Rembert the store manager was the coolest EVER! He showed interest in converse collection. He showed me some of his cool shoes, as he took interest in my about 70 pair of converse I have. We talked for about 10 minutes. Tori was was very helpful and very nice. If I lived in Long Beach, I would probably be there at least once a week. I'm from Columbus, Ohio. It saddens me to see our location here in Sunbury close. Whenever I come back to LBC I most definitely will be back!!! Thank you kindly”

“Honestly I was worried about going to B&T not by their mistake but from a previous shop I used to go to. After they shut down, I looked everywhere to get my badminton rackets serviced. After arriving, the owners were extremely polite, very passionate, very knowledgeable within the sports. Their pricing is extremely competitive, very good service / turn around time. 1000000% this is my new shop. They do Badminton, Tennis, Pickleball. Go find them!”

My family and I came to eat locally. The business was closed, so I took the opportunity to go window shopping, so I thought of private sneakers.
I'm a huge fan of New Balance shoes, low and behold they had multiple on display, even a new style new balance
I have often wondered what lies behind these closed doors. When I say closed I mean locked ! As we went to open the door. Low and behold, Manny unlocks the door! I had to ask why they were locked. Unfortunately, folks can walk in and out without paying. So doors are kept locked.
Personally, I enjoyed my 40-minute shopping experience alone with my family having Manny to ourselves to ask questions regarding New Balance shoes. I may have never bought one pair, let alone two pairs, without his personal assistance.
I seen these very new new balance shoes, half open grey shoes on the shelf. Manny mentioned these were their newest in store. He brought me 3 different pairs until I had the perfect fit. I'm taking them @ $150.00
Manny did the same for my mother in law. She was a bit more challenging in shoe. You see, she is petite with the smallest foot I've ever known for an adult. Manny brought several different new balance shoes. He finally brought out a 4 1/2 new balance 9060 in dark blue shoe (kids) @ $110.00. Add those to my order as well.
Why I like new balance shoes they come Wide, I have a big wide foot. The stability, balance, and shock absorption. Overall, quality shoes are out the door.
Overall experience with Manny and Johnny 5 stars, Atmosphere was poppin' when I was not taking photos I was dancing. The beats were great. 5 stars

“I haven't played paintball in over 12 years and only just decided to play again! After a not so savory experience at another paintball store, I went to this place to grab some gear for speedball. I must have spent almost 5 hours at this store asking questions about gear and guns, trying things out, and holding and playing with different markers. Throughout the entire shopping experience Tony and his assistant were very nice, helpful and informative about current gear and answered any questions I had. My friend and I ended up purchasing an AXE 2.0, a CS2, masks, tanks, jersey's and whatever else we needed. We even ended up meeting another person who frequented the shop who also gave me advice on gear and they even invited us to go play with them the next morning and we just straight up did! Overall a great experience. I'll be referring a few more friends to purchase markers from and support this local shop soon.”
