“Visited this store last year. They sell many various authentic items from Nepal and India. The owner was very welcoming and had a great open discussion with me about the shop and the cultural items they sell. I enjoyed the hospitality there. Will come again in the future.”
“Minimalist Japanese design meets home goods and stationery. The products are simple but beautiful—ceramics, pens, and textiles. A bit pricey, but you’re paying for craftsmanship. The vibe is quiet and curated. Great spot if you appreciate thoughtful design”
“Tapta provided the best service and product. Would highly recommend you visit his kiosk at Westfield Culver City. Great gift ideas!
We got some done for our dog and they turned out beautiful.”

“Bunkado feels wonderfully fragile in the most beautiful way, as if every object inside carries a quiet history that could be lost if not handled with care. The soft glow of lantern light, aged wood-paneled walls, and delicately arranged ceramics create an atmosphere that invites slow movement and mindful attention. Nothing feels rushed or disposable; each item appears to rest exactly where it belongs, with intention and respect. The narrow aisles and glass cases heighten that sense of vulnerability, reminding you to look closely and move gently. There’s a calm stillness to the space, as though time softens once you step inside. Shopping here feels more like entering a living archive than a store. You leave with a quiet appreciation, as if you’ve briefly held something precious and timeless.”
“Had an amazing experience with T. He fit me for a gorgeous 14k gold toe ring. He made it sized perfect for me. Can’t say enough good things about him.
And yes. It’s 2025 and people still wear toe rings.
Love my toe ring!”
“Bought a little Kita figure for a friend here. Price was lower than another place nearby for the same thing. Seemed to be a well organized store overall, which was nice.”
“I LOVE this place!! I've never been able to get any Arknights merch even at anime expo. So seeing it here was so awesome. A lot of genshin stuff too if you're into that. I'm an avid cat girl fan and a LOT of the stuff they have here are cat girls so this place was literally heaven.”
“I love this shop!
Wonderful whimsical pieces for the home and never boring.
I am a licorice fan! Their candy; selections are
Fun to look at, better to taste!”
“We were Looking for a particular item for my son’s birthday and CLAUDIA gladly helped us, took her time to look for it and help us to order online. I hope everyone works like this, she obviously loves what she does and very knowledgeable to her store, thanks Claudia.”
“This is a beautiful shop at Ave. I and Catalina.. look for the best window display in the Riv and you found it. They have a variety of gifts and special items that will feed the peaceful, harmonious, positive energy we all can use more in our lives and spaces. Anything from whimsical gifts to crystals, stones, singing bowls.. when their customers walk out they look happier and more content then when they walk in. Visit and support this local gem... it will bring good vibes and happiness to your day. The owners are very nice people that are happy to help you and are always curating and stocking interesting and unique items. You will not find this quality and service online.. you have to come in.. and it isn't that bad.. right on the beach surrounded by great dining options. There are a couple free parking spaces in the alley off Catalina and plenty of metered parking.”

“Such a gem of a store! This is THE PLACE to go when you need to buy someone (or yourself!) a gift. I bought a baby gift here last weekend and they had such a wonderful selection, and wrapped everything so beautifully.”
“Jessica helped me over the phone in securing a last available pair of AKILA frames. Being here in CLT and F.D.G.S. in LA - I couldn't have asked for better customer service and she was so accommodating! If all small businesses were run like F.D.G.S. - we wouldn't have such a demand for the big box stores! A++”
“After I took their suggestions I have been saving some money on my products. If they keep going up in price on these pods though, then I may have to switch products again.”
“Such a fun place to go to. I find so many great trinkets and art here. The store is smaller and they don’t allow more than 8 people in at a time. Keep that in mind if you’re coming with a large group.”

“First off the store has such a strong energetic pull that wifted me in by sight of their beautifully handcrafted 2 peice linen pants suit. It is one size fits all for various shapes and sizes ladies ? and comes in 3 neutral colors: Olive Green, White and Tan/Khaki. If your ever on Venice Beach don't hesitate to stop in. Pictures coming soon ??”
“Great spot to buy pens, notebooks, plushies, collectibles, Keychain and more. All products are the latest popular anime trends. Aisles are a bit tight as you will have to squeeze through someone to walk pass them in an aisle.
Products are easy to find and read. Prices are good for the products. You may find certain products here that you wont find at other stores.”
“The LAPhil store is located in the Walt Disney concert hall. It is an adorable little store which focuses on what the LA Phil community would like to see and purchase. There’s merchandise related to the music performed and for music lovers from a very young audience to the older generations. There are inexpensive and expensive items to choose from. It is very elegant and can easily accommodate many people; and it has selections for yourself and for gifts to give such as mugs, magazines, magnets, albums, cds, record player, earrings, necklaces, shirts, books, instruments, purses, stickers, and jewelry. This store celebrates the years Dudamel has been the director and conductor for the LA Philharmonic ❤️??”
“If you are lucky enough to be near Boyle Heights, visiting this treasure is a must. Espacio 1839 features gorgeous, powerful, original art and an incredible selection of unique gifts. Absolutely recommend.”

“The moment you walk into this place, you will feel like a little kid walking in and buying a pack of baseball cards or other sports cards. They have a huge variety of all kinds of sports cards and trading cards. I was very impressed by the layout and the amount of selection they offer. The prices are very reasonable and offers deals whether you pay in cash or credit card. They accept venmo, zelle and others.
This is one of the best hobby card stores I have gone in and its rare to find these type of stores in various states. I highly recommend hitting this place up. By the way, they do offer trades night along with vendors night in their facility. This is a one of a kind type of store that offers that capability.”
“Burro is an absolute gem! I can't stop coming back here, especially when I have a birthday party or dinner to go to. They have the most amazing mix of things – I'm talking mouthwatering chocolates, beautiful handmade cards, books, and even cool clothes from local artists. And those little nicknacks you never knew you needed for your home? Forget about it! It's the perfect place to find that unique gift at every price point.”
