“Hayfork generally has two types of people: those who shop at Hayfork Discount and those who go to the more centrally located Wiley's. Folks tend to be particular with their loyalties in this mountain valley, or at least they did back in the day. If you are loyal to Hayfork Discount, you will get a nice, roomy store with a lot of selection and in the rear of the establishment you can find great local beef when available (if they haven't moved things around). They keep it fresh here so you don't have to be concerned with out of date merchandise. They have a long history of helping the community to boot.”
