“Went to this place to find masa to make tamales. The guy at the deli counter said he just ran out of the one he makes, because of the holidays, but they had one that was pre-mixed in a plastic bag that he said was just as good. So we decided to go with it since we had already made the tamale stuffing and sauce. So, we made the tamales, and it turned out pretty good. The masa is a little grainy and chunky, but after you cook it, it's pretty good. We will have to try the homemade one that the guy makes next time.”
“I Love this little country store!! The store is always kept stocked and clean. The owners are most friendly, and helpful. If they don't carry what you need they'll figure out how to get it in there store. I visit this place quite often and would definitely recommend anyone in the area or if your just passing through to definitely stop by.”
“Been going to this one as my main grocery store for years now. Prices aren’t the best but the staff is great. James at checkout is always there in the morning and my fav dude there, he’s half the reason I go lol. I know it’s gonna be easy and he’s a nice guy.
Only had one issue in a decade, they sold steaks that were expired. I called in and the manager was super sorry and refunded it and has checked in a few times over the years to make sure I’m happy, I thought that was cool. Good little store. Still has neighborhood vibes not all hermetic and corporate like Wally World.”

For some reason, I feel shame and guilt buying cheap alcohol in Elk Grove. However, this Laguna Mart maintains a South Sac vibe, which puts my deplorable mind at ease.
