“Went shopping at Sprouts in Elk Grove this morning. Very clean and organized store. During checkout TERRY greeted me very kindly. She helped me pick out the correct number of bags needed and held the kindest conversation with the most precious smile. She made me laugh and transferred her contagious smile to me. Nice meeting you TERRY! Thanks for helping me start my day right!!!”
“Diego makes the most delicious pizzas I have ever tasted. The fact that this is a grocery store pizza and not a specialized pizza place amazes me. He greets you with his cute little face and then delivers the most breath taking bite of all time. Simply amazing”
“This place is awesome!! We're from out of state and was looking for some fresh fruit stands and came across Sun Strawberry. Their strawberries are amazing and their cherries and blackberries were awesome too!! Took the wife and kids out and they had a blast picking all the berries. It's 3 bucks per person to go pick and I think we spent 30 bucks for a bucket full of strawberries and a basket of cherries and blackberries, so 40 bucks total for a bunch of amazing fruit and a fun family outing, you just can't beat that sometimes?”

“It’s not often that I enter an Asian market but I was impressed by the selection they had ranging from produce and fresh fish to seasonings and prepackaged foods.
The fish is so fresh, they even have fish tanks with different types.
As someone who loves to eat different Asian cuisine, I have a great appreciation for the quality of the goods available.”

“We’re from SF but were vacationing in Napa Valley so we decided to drive to Elk Grove for some Taco Nadas and it was well worth the drive! I’m 7 months pregnant and was desperately craving these from my childhood school lunches, so my husband and I decided we’d just go get some. The staff was super nice and even gave us two Pizza Nadas warmed up for us to try! We bought 2 dozen Taco Nadas for only $40.”
“Aimie who works at this store is so considerate and nice, very helpful! I’m recovering from a recent knee injury and so I placed a mobile order through the Safeway app. The rep who was shopping for my order at first was not responding back to the chat for substitutions (ie. I have a peanut allergy and they got peanut butter ice cream) and so I called the store and got ahold of aimie and she took over mid shopping to get my order corrected and even found the items that were marked as substituted even though they were in stock! She is amazing. The other people there could take some training and advice from her on how to do your job properly. Amazing!’”

“You don't know what you're talking about, do you? This place is exactly what you should expect of a liquor store. You walk in and out without getting shot, the Food and Liquor are not expired and safe for consumption and they carry other stuff common of a liquor store. Don't keep your expectations any higher than that. You're not going to get white glove service at the liquor mart”

“The Walmarts grocery is in a separate building. It is called the Walmart Neighborhood market. We shopped for dinner, and we were quick here, purchasing our items with self check out ar 5:40 pm. The majority of shoppers have been to Walmart due to their competitive prices. But this Walmart has a lot of vehicular traffic due to their parking and location near other businesses. Hence be alert while driving here. Also, I noticed that Walmart needs more cleanliness. The floor needs detailed cleaning, especially under the food displays, as grime is seen. Also, a good buffing as wheel cart skid marks are seen. Lastly, it needs better cleaning during business time as trash, and debris are in the walk area.”
“So many varieties and options for your Desi kitchen supply ranging from kulfi, halal cheetos to juices and sodas from Pakistan. I love the customer service from the owners and their family as well as the meat butchers. Everyone is friendly. If they weren't friendly maybe it has to do little with their service and has to do with your interactions with them. Never had a problem with customer service. Would come here again.”
“I am reviewing the Neighborhood Market side. They don't have it listed separately yet they are separate stores. I went here with my wife when we stopped to charge our car. It is pretty big in here and I have never really shopped at a Walmart for groceries. I couldn't believe how low some of the prices are on items that we always buy. We normally shop at Costco, Belair , and Nugget. I guess you consider those high end in the supermarket side. The staff is really nice here and answered our questions when asked. There are so many different thing out now that were not when I was younger. We will be coming back here again. I am still not sure of buying meat here.”

“Public parking for wheelchairs and walkers. Food is great. Customer service improved. I am very selective with my meat. The meat is great. Not to expensive, children friendly and safe. Plenty of baskets and scooters. If you go to customer service you will definitely see more over there or ask a clerk. Restroom abayand pharmacy as well. Natuayand organics available. Makeup aisle as well”
“I have been shopping at Safeway for years but recently I have been taking advantage of $5 Fridays which pare the bomb! We are able to save considerably by taking advantage of the posted specials. Also, the chicken strips and the Mac n cheese are a definite hit in this house! Move over KFC.”

“I have a Savemart very close to my home. It has not been one of my favorite grocery stores but that has changed. I can shop at Savemart and find a variety of foods. Their produce section has improved immensely and they now have organic options. The employees are always friendly. The store ambiance has also improved a lot. This is now one of my preferred grocery stores.”
“Back to Elk Grove Walmart. Quiet on an early Saturday morning which was nice. Clean and spacious, and friendly service.All of the dvds were picked through. We were on a mission for dvds as this is my son's hobby. Parking lot can get busy as the day goes on. Today, there were lots of handicap accessible spots”

“TLDR: Kobe is awesome.
I came in the other night super late because I had gotten off work late and I had to go to Costco first since they closed earlier. I hate going places late because I don't like to be that person that comes in last minute and has people waiting once the store is technically closed and I'm still there checking out. I still went because I had a retirement party I was planning for my mom and I had literally no other time to get it done due to my work hours. I basically live at Trader Joe's so I figured I'd be in and out. For the most part, I was, but I'm new to this area so I got lost finding a couple things. One of the guys that was stocking helped me find stuff twice and he was super nice as well. I didn't see his name though. Anyway, by the time I got to the check out and everything, it was a few minutes after 9. I apologized to Kobe because I felt bad keeping him there past closing. He assured me that it was fine and he was very chill and kind to me. I had a really good experience and that little act of kindness made a really stressful week a little bit better. These days, it's very hard to get good service (generally speaking, not at TJ's), so when I do come across people that seem to really like their jobs, I always try and shout them out. Thank you for being so great!”
