“This is the best lab that I've been to. I've gone here for my blood work several times. I use the app or website to schedule an appointment and they have always been on time. The phlebotomist is skilled and never has a problem finding my veins and I'm a difficult stick”
“Experience was very quick. Almost too quick. I understand taking blood samples is probably all they do all day, every day, and it’s a repetitive job, but it kind of makes me skeptical they can also make mistakes seeing how fast everything happened. My nurse/doctor was very nice and pleasant. When I arrived there was no clear signage outside where Quest was. The main entrance door was locked but there was no sign explaining you had to enter through a different door. I had no wait time once I was in.
I appreciate that they are open on Saturdays. My visit was just a few days ago and I had an extensive blood panel done. Not all of my results are in yet and I’m still waiting for my doctor to analyze the information.”

“The overworked staff is kind, patient and skilled. Unfortunately today I didn't have an appointment so needed to wait 2.5 hours ( after fasting for 12 hours). The problem was the managing of these facilities. The Orinda LabCorp only had 1 phlebotomist for checking in and drawing labs. The Lafayette LabCorp closed ( no walk ins) for appointments only and then closed completely due to computer problems. While the CEO of LabCorp makes 10 million the employees are left overworked and poor equipment. Corporate , Get it together!”

“The phlebotomist at Quest was very kind, very quick, and very good at her job. The only tiny problem I experienced was arriving for a walk-in the day before. I walked-in at about 3:10pm or so the afternoon before and was informed on the check-in computer screen that there were no more spots available that day, and to schedule an appointment for another date. A 4pm closing time is a very early closing time. What working person can arrive before 4pm? I feel that a medical clinic that says they are open until a specific time should accept walk-ins up to that specific closing time and that your clinicians should remain as long as it takes to serve walk-ins that arrive to your door up to that closing time. Your clinic should not turn walk-ins away at 3pm because you want to stop paying employees by 4:30pm. That is just my feelings. But again, the phlebotomist I had after scheduling an appointment was excellent and very kind.”

“What a great experience! I have been sick as a dog and needed to go to urgent care to get some relief from my symptoms. Everybody at the facility in Orinda was amazing, competent, caring, and thorough. I am highly impressed! Sauna, who was the person at the front desk was super helpful and clearly explained the process for me to see someone. I came in with a very bad cough and cold and because these could be signs of Covid, she explained that I needed to be seen outdoors by the staff. All I had to do is drive around to the back parking lot where they had set up tents for the staff to see the patients.. Stephanie was the intake nurse and she was great. And probably the biggest shout out should go to Dr. Bueno. He was super thorough and insisted I get a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia, and wanted me to get a strep throat culture taken as well as Covid test. Within a very short time, all my tests were completed and the results came back. Dr. Bueno got me prescriptions to alleviate my symptoms. He is a fantastic doctor and was very reassuring that I would be on the road to recovery soon. Not that I wanna be sick, but if I am again, I will definitely go back to Sutter urgent care in Orinda,.”
“I’ve always had fast, pain-free lab service here, with friendly staff for the most part (yes, receptionists can sometimes get cranky but that’s a high-burnout job and I’ve witnessed patients bringing their less-than-best-selves forward more than once…)”

“I had to do a pre employment drug screen urine test and my employer only allowed Lab Corp. I live in Vallejo and the Pinole location is the closest to me. I had to get my test done within 3 days. This location only does drug screen appointments but there next available was 3 weeks out so I had to walk in and wait my turn. If you have to do this, I suggest you arrive before they open at 7 AM and get in line. I was able to do this and I was done in less than an hour. Employees were very kind and professional and the waiting was clean. Thank you Pinole LabCorp. You made this progress quick and painless for me.”

“The online appointment system works so well. I arrived a little early and was very pleased to see my abbrev. name on the screen in the waiting room. Exactly on time, the technician invited me in. She was knowledgeable about my lab requirements and had the needle and containers ready. I was in and out in a very short time. The technician was professional and friendly. I have switched to the Quest lab in Hercules and do let everyone know what a great lab it is, especially if they use the online appointment and registration system ahead of time. Btw, their online system is one of the best I've used -- it''s logical with clear instructions. Excellent services.”
