First I was trying to figure out do i take my 2021 malibu to the dealership so I decided to let the review section decide and the more I read everyone comments on FREEDOM AUTO REPAIR the more I felt confident to not just purchase service but the experience of what every customer experienced and this feeling of quality service. Mr. Lavell was top tier in service i mean the dedication to customer service the communication is better than a Bank, a super market, or any fast food restaurant. Listen they kept me informed about my vehicle being pull in to be worked on. txt me pictures of what was going on i felt the honesty of FREEDOM AUTO REPAIR. The dealership wouldn't ever txt a customer pictures of on going repair, i even needed a cv axel which was something I didn't come in for (it just was initial transmission service) and there was no pressure to purchase the cv axel it was courtesy letting me know it needs replacement and keeping me aware with such direct communication and professionalism i decided to let them do the replacement i mean I felt like I was a regular customer and this is my first encounter. This is how you can tell this is the mechanic shop you can trust with your vehicle i feel every happy satisfaction emotion that ppl who left comments on their experience felt. “I took my Cadillac SRX to Dave's for a four wheel alignment. I asked for reports showing the wheel alignment of the vehicle both before and after alignment which they gladly provided. The work was done promptly by appointment. When I later studied the results I found the front to be in specification, but the rear Toe was not, a major concern as Toe is the key contributor to tire wear. After bringing this to their attention they made a new appointment to correct the problem. As it turned out GM had implemented a redesign of the Toe control Rod that I had been
install by a local dealer. After discussion with Tony, Dave's Auto owner, he shared with me the changes, even taking me to the shop and showing me the design. He had not seen this design and was not sure how the suggested alignment procedure by GM would but was happy to give it a try. After sharing the results which showed the alignment met GM specs perfectly I thanked him for the extra effort that was performed at no cost. I will not hesitate to return to Dave's Auto repair in the future as I found them to be very competent, seeming honest with fair pricing, and performed their work as promised. The only reason I do not give them five stars is that they did not explain why the first alignment was not to spec.”

“Best auto body and paint shop in the high desert hands down!! I just bought a brand new vehicle and unfortunately got into an accident the very same week after receiving my new car. I found Quilty Auto Body & Paint locally and called a very helpful gentleman named Gary. They we're able to work with my insurance company, handling everything from beginning to end, making it so easy for me and fixing my car to look brand new again! “While driving back to Las Vegas after a birthday trip to Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland, our Ford Ranger suddenly started shifting hard and threw a powertrain light right after we crossed the mountain pass near Hesperia. The truck had just had its transmission rebuilt in December and was still under warranty, but getting help through the warranty company was frustrating and we were stuck three hours from home trying to figure out what to do.

We found Kay Jay’s Transmission on Google and called them, and they were incredibly kind right from the start. They told us to come in whenever we could get there and welcomed us even though we arrived close to their lunch break. Jeff helped us and immediately made the stressful situation feel easier. We had already been joking about the “my name is Jeff” line from 22 Jump Street earlier that morning because the person we were dealing with at the original shop was also named Jeff, so that became the running joke of the day. *Noticed from another review, James helped us!*

The shop itself was great — snacks and drinks available, funny little signs all over the walls, and even a security officer on site. Jeff gave us an honest idea of what they thought the issue might be (possibly overfilled transmission fluid) and kept us updated throughout the process. Because it was going to take a while, they even helped get us over to Hertz to rent a vehicle, which funny enough wasn't needed by time we returned to the shop to grab our things and head home.

Everyone that came in the shop while there the employees were all so kind and it didn't seem like they'll overcharge you for anything. Real honest recommendations.

In the end, that’s exactly what it was: transmission fluid overfill. Thankfully there was no damage and they got us safely back on the road the same day. They’ve even called my boyfriend since then just to check that we made it back to Vegas safely and that the truck is running well.

We were so grateful to find such honest, kind people when we were stuck far from home. A 4 hour travel day turned into a 12/13 hour travel day and we're still thankful we ended up at Kay Jay's. If you’re anywhere near Hesperia and need transmission work, Kay Jay’s is absolutely the place to go.

“If you want entertainment....come here!!! Carlos will have you rolling on the floor to ease your mind but give you no B.S. at the same time. My car was in an accident on 12/5/24 and we had my vehicle towed to C.A.R.S. 12/6/24. When I Carlos and his team were thorough, trust me they were. Long story short, his company also gave my children xmas presents because I wasn't able to afford any due to my car being in the shop. I had to use my hubby car which was a bummer with all the getting up early dropping him off at work and taking kids to school. So it stressed me way out but Carlos was able to ease my pain knowing I'll get my vehicle back. I RECOMMEND this company to anyone. But make sure you have a backup car or rental because you will be stuck like I was.

“I have gone to this business for multiple smogs now, and every time they are very quick and friendly. Unfortunately, Google told me they closed an hour later than they actually did. I showed up only 10 minutes before they closed for a smog, but they still took me in and completed the smog. I am especially thankful for that. Also, the staff are very friendly and great conversations holders! I always learn something new there.”

“This is the best place to go in the Victor Valley for used tires. I called SO many businesses for used tires and of all of them, Canos offered the best price and had enough in stock. Each individual used tire was $45, but I was given a great deal for buying 4. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes. My only complaint is that the phone number listed on Google doesn’t work. “I don't know what the other reviewer is complaining about, but I can tell you the truth. To complaining about not having seating is a very false narrative, they always did. I get it if you aren't happy with a service, but don't lie about it. Ive been going here for years. Even before, with the original owners and they always had these same seats. I guess some people's unhappyness brings lies. Well this tire shop had always been nice to me and my family. Always willing to help us out with our tire needs. And they are, both a plus and a blessing ?because they're down the street from us. I have no complaints about them. This shop is full of just good hard working people that are trying to keep a business afloat. Oh by the way, never had I been given less of a treatment for minor tire issues. “I bought a 2.2L 4cyl.motor for my 2001 Saturn LW200. I have not installed it yet so I can't say anything about it just yet.However I can say that up to now I'm very happy with how this transaction has gone. They found me a motor so I made a down payment they gave me a pickup date the motor was there on that day when I called and I went and got. It really was that simple and easy. So after I install the new crankshaft seals and get I install it I will return to add how the motor does.”
