“My wife and I were shopping for Bulgur wheat to take back to Tennessee for the holidays. This convenient little shopping mart had what we needed and then some. The lady who worked behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. Also bought a can of stuffed grape leaves to try out. Can't wait to try it.”

“First time here, the people working there are very helpful and assisted me in getting the ingredients I needed. They also suggested others items I might be interested in. Lots of items, food and spices from India. I would shop here again.”

“Pretty Nice Country Store. Has mostly everything you need. I was thinking they should have vegetables but it's a convenience store and most aren't shopping for those items at a C-store? If they have veggies, I probably passed them and didn't notice? People behind the counter are Very Nice and Courteous. Fair prices for being away from the city. They have gas too. The price is also fair for being away from the city. Pretty Cool Establishment.”

“I can't believe this stores stock. They have a bit of everything. They must have been the last stop out to the middle of the dessert and continue to provide to loyal customers. Unusual things they have in this convenience store. And the supply of alcohol, including wine is pretty decent.”

“Aldi is the closest store to a Trader Joe's up here in the High Desert. Since it is unlikely Trader Joe's will be setting up shop here during my lifetime, Aldi is the alternative in between trips down the hill. Price wise, they are competitive with other stores in the area. Quality is hit or miss on their own branded products but it is fun to try new things out. Aldi is probably the most keto, Paleo, gluten free, low carb friendly store I have ever seen. There is something for everyone here regardless of dietary requirements. They recently had the best pricing for asparagus from Mexico and Peru at $1.83 for a bunch. What a treat to have fresh roasted asparagus spears during the wintertime! It is a most pleasant change from the usual green beans found on the holiday feast table. Christmas gingerbread cookies imported from Germany are another favorite of mine. I am particularly fond of the Lebkuchen, iced cookies baked on a thin wafer with the crispy, spongy texture. These have a nice spice flavor. Not the usual cookie people are familiar with here so more for me!I like to also get the no-sugar meat snacks that are available at Aldi. The meat sticks have a good flavor and are practically guilt free in regard to sugar content. Berries are priced well here for the wintertime. It is the usual strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. The blackberries are particularly plump and fresh as well as sweet. Very appealing and appetizing. All in all, a good place to spend some time to explore the products. You won't know what will be there until you look. There is even an aisle of miscellaneous merchandise that is priced to clear. Quality is unknown so choose wisely. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. The cashiers are very fast during the check out process. Plenty of parking in the shopping center.”

“I don’t remember names first time here. The Lady, I met was down to Earth. She has good manners and feelings of welcome, on our way to Silverwood Lake. Second time I came back to get gas. Was less than the gas stations down the street! fueled up and went back. Great little stop by. The way a Country Store should be.”

“I ran in tonight specifically for tamales and was not disappointed. Sometimes if you get there too late in the day the tamales will be kind of hard but this evening they were a very moist and tasty whoever made them today did a great job and I definitely appreciate it.”

“The selection is good! They have frozen longganisa and lumpia and other filipino items you can cook at home. They're market selection is stocked with the standard and usual Filipino faire such as noodles, instant ramen and such. Not too bad on the snack items either. The service was kinda weird, although they were friendly and very nice, they were on their phone chatting quite loudly on speaker. A bit unprofessional but otherwise, they were cool. Plenty of parking outside, I've only been there during the day so I'm not sure how the area is at night.”

“Wait a second. I was scrolling through the reviews on yelp for Stater Bros and this Stater Bros in particular and I was shocked at the low ratings and low stars. Stater Bros is my favorite go to grocery store in the HD. Look, I know I'm not going to save a lot of money at Stater Bros, unless I'm buying steak on sale, but I also know I'm not going to wait in a line that is a mile long because there is only 3 registers open. Nope, not at Stater Brothers. They'll keep opening registers until they are all open. Now, speaking of steak... Stater Bros wins. I have a family of 6 and we like to eat steak. Now, I'm not so full of myself that I have to eat Wagyu Beef or Prime Cuts, some choice Porterhouse on sale for $4.99 a lb will do us just fine and Stater always runs deals like this. I'm also Italian from back east and I like my Italian cold cuts like Capicola (Gabagool), Mortadella, and Salami. They always have it. I don't shop exclusively at Stater Bros because frankly there is many choices and if you shop you know that you'll find deals elsewhere and I look for deals. When I do shop at Stater Bros I am never disappointed.”

“This Walmart is better than the others in the scarier places in the high desert. It's not without it's flaws, I would never let my guard down at a Walmart in 2024, but this one tends to be least colorful.”

“I Love Walmart. Walmart is in my top 5 stores to shop. It can be a bit ghetto sometimes depending on where you are but Walmart is a house hold brand type of business, you can never really go wrong when coming here to find what you need from food, clothes personals and household items.”
