“Very nice roadside stop location along the 152/Pacheco Pass Hwy. We only needed to use the restrooms, which were clean and well stocked. There's an adjoining parkette with trains and animals which is very cool for the kiddies. The store has a large selection of fruits and produce, nuts, and all kinds of other things. There's also the Casa de Restaurant if you want a full meal. Definitely worth the stop if you're travelling through the area.”

“My family always goes here when it comes to the meat. Super friendly and the whole staff/team are very down to earth and very helpful for any questions. My mom always goes here and swears by the butcher. He is very accommodating when it comes to cutting the meat for her. Support small businesses if you're in the hollister area!”

“The place to get great bargains on groceries! This is our go-to spot! Fun new items every time! They carry a lot of discontinue or closeout items among other regular grocery staples. Prices are reasonable! Same loaf of sourdough bread is twice the price across the road at the regular grocery store!”

“It's a great store and the people are really nice and it's usually stocked very well and very clean. I only complaint is the deli. The guys they have making the sandwiches are so so slow! They don't work with urgency and then they will stop and talk to people or the other people. There's usually four or five people in the deli and one person working the counter. So the same person who is doing the sandwiches is slicing the meat Then you have someone else working on the floor then someone else doing packaging one person doing sushi and then just one person doing the sandwiches and the slicing the meat usually maybe two if you're lucky. But whoever's in the back due in the packaging or the manager who's looking at her clipboard seems to always be talking to the sandwich maker and he's taking a long time to make a sandwich every time I'm in there and then you have to wait for that person to get done making a sandwich to get something on the other side with the meats and cheeses but then someone else comes up with a slip for a sandwich so they're just making sandwiches making sandwiches who's helping this guy in the deli case?! I think you should have whoever's there possibly put down what they're doing and try to help these people out. It's called teamwork.”

“I pass by this place every time I go to my buddies house, and his family took me here on the way back from a trip to Anaheim. I ate some of the best prime rib I've had in a while, then checked out their various stores and stared at a pond full of turtles. Their actual restaurant reminds me of this old diner I used to go to called Carrows. I miss that place. The server was friendly and nice, talking to us like we were long time family. It was a pretty standard vibe in there, just like the late night diner vibe.I totally wanna go again. Casa de Fruta holds the GOAT positions of "Best Roadside Attraction" and "Best Prime Rib". Congrats!!!”

“Need your trailer plate number. Will ask for your cell number. But do not expect them to call you. Someone will casually wave at you to pull around. Closed from 11:30-12:15”

“Robert and Ralph are awesome. They've been super helpful with brining on 15k gallons of tanks and all the items to hook up a warf hydrant. They were fast on returning calls and squeezing me in with their busy schedule. Also, their prices were the best.. I wish everyone would run their business the way they do.”

“As Hollister is growing in population I find many store shelves empty. I couldn't find my favorite over the counter cough syrup and I found it at The Dollar General at a lower price than the other stores in town. I also stocked up on facial tissues for myself and family dealing with first cold of the season. Great prices and it was a little busy with a line going up the aisle to get to the register. Worth the wait to save money on my cold season purchases. You can still find Top Ramen 5 in a package soups, but now are $1.25 instead of a dollar. Still cheaper than other stores. Go check it out yourself. They carry all sorts of food and drink items. Also, household items plus cleaning products.”

“I went yesterday, I go every now and then. I like going there. Usually, there's a woman working there. This time, an older man. Assuming her husband, perhaps? From the moment I walked in, he took notes on a disabled woman. Asking if I was alright?. He left the register to get the items that I came in for. He knew I was in tremendous pain. He attached the bag to my cane. As I am attempting to walk outside. I hear hello .. I turn around. He jumps ahead of me. .opens my mom's car door. Making sure I was safely in the car. He offered to help by bringing my neurologic leg into the car. He then touched my shoulder and wished me the best. This is amazing to me. Rarely do you see a customer service like this.”

“Ordered two reg burritos (tripa and grilled chicken). The tripa burrito was super good. It wasn't salty and it was crispy. I definitely recommend it. If you're gonna order tripa, ask them to make it extra crispy. I like how their sauces are self served, orange spicy sauce omg sooo good. In my opinion this place is authentic Mexican food. I was gonna take a pic of my tripa burrito but I was too hungry. It was that good!!! Must try place for me and will come back again :)”

“Super clean and friendly. Their pizza is so addicting! The hours have changed recently due to being robbed so it closes a bit earlier. Bummer. But if you want awesome snacks, cheap gas and friendly service, this is the place!”
