Also witness 2 women being rude to one of the night managers there was no need for that as she was doing her job just right. “Okay so... I was unpleasantly surprised that Dollar General is not a $1 only store, but it does have good prices. I went at night and was scared I might be in a bad area, but most of the customers were families with children or teenage girls. All the cashiers at the time were women so I felt safe there. Nice selection of stuff, including some tasty ice cream varieties like twinkies that you wouldn't expect to see at a mini mart. Clean, well stocked.”

“Really great store. Lots of different options like gluten free at really affordable prices! Chips are 5/$1 candy ranges on days from 2/$1 to 6/$1. Soda is super cheap there from Pepsi- $5.50 or $5. They just started accepting EBT so it’s even better to make that money last longer if you have it. I go there for my snacks and vitamins (about 50% off retail)”

“Cheap cheap for kids school last min shopping, just bring N95 to breath in here lolThe cement floors need maintenance, cleaning in front of the nail polish , needs to use acetone to clean that up . Just curious why are the drinks always empty? Do merchandisers refill not these? Benchmark with five and below , and other cement flooring businesses, cement is easy to clean just needs consistency. I'm sure corporate has been asked for this but , if corporate is reading , the vents are not acceptable dude.”

“This is my Main hometown store that I’ve been coming here for years and years. I can honestly say, they carry low prices, have lots of items in stock and employees are helpful.Compared to the new big WM down the street, this is my go to store for quick items or to refill my fridge. Yes lines can get long but patience is what you need. Seems like people hate waiting in long lines and are the same “road rage drivers” swerving in an out of lanes causing accidents because “their time is more valuable and in a hurry” then YOURS. So don’t listen to a review if it starts with “I waited forever or long lines” cause that’s everywhere. If you hate waiting In long lines wherever you go, why don’t you apply for a job and be a next “cashier”. LolAnyways, friendly staff, low prices, have what I need, and yes a manager was able to give my my missing “garbage can lid” that I didn’t know the one I purchased didn’t come with one. I saw the same ones with lids on them and asked and he approved me to grab a “lid”. A.though it was free, I paid for it long ago without a lid …..Now that’s EXCELLENT SERVICE RIGHT THERE!”

“Just wanted to say thank you to the cashier Carrie at the Mc Henry location. I had just finished going through her line when I realized I had left my atm card at home. She was so sweet and put everything aside for me till my husband could arrive with my atm card. Then, she had to ring everything back up and bag it all once again. $80.00 dollars worth of stuff I felt horrible!! But she was so sweet from begging to end. “Clean, big, and plenty to choose from. I like that this Dollar Tree has big bags of individual bags of pretzels for snacks for my kids. They have a big assortment of books and coloring books. They have a lot more of everything because it's such a big store. The customer service is wonderful and it's closer to me then the Oakdale Rd. location. Glad they opened this one.”

“I have frequented greater than a dozen different .99 Cent stores if not more and to date this store consistently stocks some of the freshest produce, dairy, bread, frozen and refrigerated foods. And now a topic or item that is near and dear to my heart that I would be paying at least three to four dollars more for if I were shopping not at a 99 Cent store. Soy milk. Chocolate soy milk too. Soy milks of many varieties including SoySlender. Super delicious, nutritious and affordable when purchased here. Most for .99 cents each. And they began stocking fresh bananas too. 2 liter bottles of Mountain Dew, Diet and regular Pepsi, and other name brand sodas for .99 cents plus CRV. They are friendly here as well and helpful; the employees that is. The world has changed much since I was younger and so having said that I will say that there are some homeless people that frequent this area and to me have been harmless so maybe be kind and let's not judge this location based on variables. The shelves are of average height I'd say about 5 feet tall or so as I noted some pictures and reviews referencing super tall shelving. They've changed this now. Oh and today I see they are selling Cotton Candy machines new in a box for $14.99 each. How's that for diversity? I've gotten myself some great quality scarves and hats here too; beanies in particular. Return policy: With a receipt only and here's how it works: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return and either exchange your item(s) or get a different item(s). “Prices are good.Staff was friendly.Store was stocked well.Fairly clean for the area.The only thing is they have a lot of homeless people hanging out and the area can be quite a bit sketchy. I know a lot of parents lately have been letting their kids run around the store without any intervention from the staff. But that's just bad parenting not the stores fault. But I would suggest it's not very safe in the area if you are by yourself.”
