“We enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly any time we seen them. The rooms are a bit noisy during the day time with all the traffic but once it gets dark then it’s not bad at all. You do have to walk down the street a bit to get to the traffic walk to get to the beach access but it’s not a bad walk at all and beats paying for parking. Plenty to eat around there and we did order pizza too and it was easy to get. Thanks for the hospitality!”

“The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Shower was clean too. Staff was super nice and helpful. We stayed one night for Warp tour. We have a cash deposit and once we checked out and the cleaning crew gave the all clear we got our deposit back. I honestly prefer this method vs waiting for the bank to clear the hold. Only negative thing we experienced was that the vending machine needed to be serviced so we were not able

“I really like this place and would definitely stay again. My family stayed for a week while visiting family. The hotel and room were nice and super clean. Every staff member we interacted with was stellar...friendly and professional. Really I can't say enough about how great the staff was.
The free breakfast each morning was also good...eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, bagels, mini quiche, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal bar (with a ton of options), yogurt, juice, and coffee. It was available from 6:30-9:30am on weekdays and 7-10am on weekends.
There's a fun outdoor space on the second floor with a huge chess board, Jenga, cornhole, tv, and a ton of seating.
The room itself was nice. It would be a great space to work from. There is a nice desk and separate area with a couch. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. My only minor complaint is the layout of the beds and bathroom is strange. The bathroom is right in front of the two queen beds. It had a big, opaque farmdoor. If someone used the bathroom at night and turned on the light, it was super bright for anyone in bed. The location also made it a bit weird for privacy reasons. Other than that, no complaints.”

“We loved staying here. It was clean, good breakfast choices that went until 930, check out is 11, staff is very friendly, and the price was decent. It's located just close enough to everything but far enough away that it's calming and peaceful.”

“forget all of the bad reviews because they’re under new management and ownership now! it may be a motel on the outside but it’s a hotel on the inside! we walked in and were amazed by how clean and modern it looked, from the sleekly made beds and fluffy pillows to the side table and mirror and tv. they have roku and a big flat screen. two charging ports. the owner and manager were so professional and friendly as well. it was an amazing experience. i’d definitely recommend this place then head down to downtown huntington beach any day of the week for a little fun! also btw it’s not called starlight inn you’ll find it on kayak.com under kiwi inn. 10/10 experience 5/5 stars!”
