Convenient to the beach and walking distance to the Huntington Beach pier where there are many food and shopping options to choose from! Loved the rooftop bar Saturday night with a live DJ. Vibes were excellent!”

“We enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly any time we seen them. The rooms are a bit noisy during the day time with all the traffic but once it gets dark then it’s not bad at all. You do have to walk down the street a bit to get to the traffic walk to get to the beach access but it’s not a bad walk at all and beats paying for parking. Plenty to eat around there and we did order pizza too and it was easy to get. Thanks for the hospitality!”
“Great location AWAY from the hustle and bustle of PCH, which is exactly what we were looking for! 8 minute drive to PCH and all the beaches. Inn & Out Burger two buildings down, Weinerschnitzel 4. Walmart is literally right next door so quick drive if you need anything from there before heading to the beach. If you don't feel like driving, just walk around the block to Walmart. Lots of walkable stores and gas stations everywhere. Albertsons right down the road too!
The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and checked us in under 2 minutes! I requested a top floor room, if available, and was checked into one. Thank you for that reservation team!! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC kicked butt (in a great way lol.) More than enough parking for everyone there. Tons of cameras around so I think they take safety very seriously. Very quiet location with no riff raffs which was amazing!!
We would definitely stay here again if in the Huntington Beach area! Highly recommend if you want away from the craziness of PCH but still close enough to be able to get there quickly.”

“We only stayed one night before our cruise and actually really liked this motel! We could see the beach and had plenty of seating and the owner was warm and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly and had a great view of the water tower house.”

“My husband, two kids and I stayed at this hotel for over a week on our family vacation, and it was a wonderful experience! The room and buildings were beautiful, well kept and all the staff were so very friendly. The breakfast was great, and had loads of delicious options (bagels, fruits, oatmeal, etc), the only catch is they didn’t change the eggs, sausage or tater tots the entire time but I am not complaining as they kept it constantly fresh and clean; so it was delicious nonetheless.
We had a couple nights where parking was not close to our room—and that’s okay, there is extra parking nearby. There is a laundry room as well so that’s awesome as we didn’t have to leave to wash our clothes ($10 to wash & dry.) They have a nice pool and hot tub as well!
The beach is nice and close and there is plenty of nearby food and grocery options.
Overall, this lovely hotel has exceeded my expectations, and did a fantastic job with their overall service, nice hospitality and excellent staff. 10/10, would love to stay here again, if we have the chance to return to California! 😊🙏🏻”
“forget all of the bad reviews because they’re under new management and ownership now! it may be a motel on the outside but it’s a hotel on the inside! we walked in and were amazed by how clean and modern it looked, from the sleekly made beds and fluffy pillows to the side table and mirror and tv. they have roku and a big flat screen. two charging ports. the owner and manager were so professional and friendly as well. it was an amazing experience. i’d definitely recommend this place then head down to downtown huntington beach any day of the week for a little fun! also btw it’s not called starlight inn you’ll find it on kayak.com under kiwi inn. 10/10 experience 5/5 stars!”

“The room was kinda destroyed the restroom door was 2 colors. For the price that you have to pay and the valet 60 dollars a night. It’s a bit over priced the breakfast tasted like re cooked food too . But the service is good.”
