“It had been close to 55 years since I'd been to Huron, Ca. Today, I visited, seeking bait and tackle. What I found was Los Amigos Market. A clean and well stocked, small but mighty grocery store. The produce and fresh cut meat counter (Carneceria) were surprisingly low cost priced. What drew me to the store was the smell, from the road, of BBQ chicken and pork ribs.
I believe I paid $11.50 for a plate costillios, 6 corn tortillas, and a cup of very tasty, not too spicey, salsa. Macaroni salad is available.”

“The deli at this mini mart serves Mexican food. The chile verde is very good. Authentic flavor and the portions are large. I have also had the flautas and enchiladas great flavor and her chili is nice and spicy. Prices are reasonable. Just had 3 tacos for under 5 Bucks . Hours vary so they are not always open.”
