“Great hometown market. Prices are reasonable considering everything has to be trucked up the mountain. They do have some great buy one get one deals is you look.
Produce in fresh and plentiful, meat department is small but well stocked with the essentials. I will say I love that they have thrifty’s ice cream. Rocky Road all the way!”
“Their brisket jerky is life changing. It is so good! So good we ate it all and had to go back the next day to get more. Cute little shop with jerky and other food items like candy, seasoning, and mixes for desserts and dips and things.”
“We went up to Idlewild and stopped at this market to get pizza. The food was amazing. Service was OK it's what you expect of a small town market. It was fresh ingredients on the pizza, small place to sit down and get out of the cold but by far some of the best pizza, also, if you're in a rush, don't order a pizza it's worth the wait”
“My family and I were camping at Thousand Trails. The kids wanted ice cream, but i didn't feel like driving all the way into town. I remembered seeing a gas station close by and decided to see if they had any snacks. This store has it all, and the guy working there was amazing! His kindness and amazing sense of humor was genuine, not faking it for the tourist.
Also, the ice cream was pretty fresh. Usually you'll find frost bitten frozen foods in remote towns, but not here.”
