“I have been shopping here for about 5 years now. I buy essential foods down the hill and replace things like coffee half and half yogurt and some frozen items here in Idyllwild. I did recently purchase a ribeye steak on sale. The 4 star rating is due to the fact that prices are double compared to Winco or Costco or even stater brothers stores. Yes I know everything is more expensive on the mountain but not double or even triple the price. Service is good some employees could learn people skills and be more helpful cheerful.The store is old but clean and it is more convenient than driving to Hemet or Palm Springs to buy food. I still stock up when I am down the hill and I will shop at fairway for replacements as needed. Just have to bite the bullet and spend more for the convenience. Saves time and gas to shop locally”

“We went up to Idlewild and stopped at this market to get pizza. The food was amazing. Service was OK it's what you expect of a small town market. It was fresh ingredients on the pizza, small place to sit down and get out of the cold but by far some of the best pizza, also, if you're in a rush, don't order a pizza it's worth the wait”
