“This has to be the cleanest hotel I have been too. I've been to many and I was so pleased with this one. Parking was free and plenty of it. The breakfast was also very good . Stephanie was working extra hard to keep up with the demand on food. It was a busy day. Will definitely stay here again. Rooms are maintained in top standards.”

“Only in California can you watch a movie on the outdoor patio of a hotel in the middle of winter! Though it was a little breezy - they do offer blanket rentals for $14 and you're welcome to bring your own! No outside food or drinks allowed, but their bar has tons of options and many snacks to choose from.There's a variety of movies they play here. I particularly like that they play older movies here! From La La Land to 50 First Dates to Top Gun... I was tempted to watch them all! They also play movies that were currently out in movie theatres and on Netflix too. On the day of the super bowl, they also stream the game! Expect some dog-friendly events to come up soon too.My boyfriend and I shared a loveseat, which is first come first serve. For $18 each and it included popcorn - this was a great deal! We watched 500 Days of Summer (2009) this past Monday and it was so fun. I would love to come back here again!!!”

“Brewery with food in Little Italy. Like most California breweries, they offer a lot of IPAs, but they also had a good variety of other beer styles. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is on the street or in the paid lot next door. We had no problem finding a spot close by.”

“San Diego Premier Party Rentals was great!! We rented a Pipe & Drape for our event which was the following week. They were professional, provided a quote right away and were able to set up and pick up for us at a lower rate than anyone else.The communication throughout was great and the rep on site was super nice. they delivered, set up and picked up and our event went of without a hitch and our pipe and drape looked perfect. Highly Recommend!!”

“Enjoying brunch outside at Feast and Fareway. This is our 2nd visit on our Cornado trip. Today we had the French toast and pancake sampler as well as the blue crab Benedict. So yummy and we will return! Savannah is an excellent server as well!The view is amazing with the bay and the bridge and right on the golf course. The mood is very laid back - we feel super comfortable here! Just relax and enjoy a good meal!”

“Flora is hands down the most beautiful venue with a dream team behind it. We used Flora for our wedding in July and it was the most perfect day. From our first meeting with Katherine, we felt the magic flora has to offer. Everyone was so quick to respond to emails, phone calls and texts. They provided a list of rockstar vendors that made our day even more perfect. Erin helped us with a bar package that fit our needs and was so pleasant to work with. Jameson was so kind in getting us all organized and ready for the big day. The star of the show was our coordinator Amanda. She helped us think about and plan every single small detail. She set up the venue in the most magical way possible and made sure EVERYTHING was perfect. She put J.Lo in the Wedding Planner to shame. Our guests cannot stop talking about the wedding even months later and we can't thank Flora and the team enough for the most beautiful and perfect day we could've asked for. “I needed a place to work during construction at my home. Downtown Works is a wonderful, inviting space! It's very airy and light-filled, and there's coffee and plenty of snacks. The staff are super friendly and very, very attentive to needs. When I needed to make phone or Zoom calls, they have phone booths that have plenty of room. I really enjoyed the vibe and will be back because I was hyper-productive there!”

“Honestly, this venue is gorgeous and the staff there are so amazing. Andy the coordinator and manager helped my family with a last minute funeral at the venue on June 17 and it turned out amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better customer service or a better place to have the memorial service. This venue is a 10 out of 10. I would recommend the bayside pavilion to anyone looking for a venue for any sort of event it’s perfect! Pictures are the venue set up for a wedding, it sold us right away it looks beautiful! You will not be disappointed!”

“I have never stayed at an Ayres hotel. For my business trip , this hotel was the only one close enough to my location. I wasn't thrilled that it was in Chula Vista, but what the heck , the company is paying not me! Looking at the pictures it looked new .i invited the wife and kids to join me and I was very nervous. Once we arrived we realized that this area is a newer development with gated communities and affluent neighborhoods. This location is next to a mall and shopping center that offers plenty of dining and shopping options. Once we arrived to the hotel , we were impressed ! Really clean! Modern looking, and the staff if helpful and friendly. My wife who notices everything and finds things wrong with every room we stay in. Said it was perfect ! The rooms are spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, safe, hairdryer,and ironing boards. There is onsite free parking, laundry room, fitness center, and lobby Bar. Breakfast is included and freshly prepared. I read reviews that didn't like the food. But for a hotel breakfast, it was excellent. And if you don't want to eat here, there is a McDonald's right outside their Front door. I will definitely come back and stay at this location again!! Thank you !!!”

“The food was fabulous. Would have liked to see a little more feta cheese on the brussel sprouts, that's just nitpicking. They were pushing staff to get their breaks out of the way before the dinner rush started (we got there a bit after 4:00), so our waiter took our order, then had to leave. Other people delivered the food, then disappeared as well, leaving us pretty much unattended. Turned out to be a non-issue, but someone should have come by the table one time while we were eating. We WILL be back.”

“Sparks Gallery is located in a charming downtown area perfect for walking and making a day of the visit. Sparks is open, inviting, and full of character. The staff are friendly and engaging people. Sparks is currently displaying dozens of pieces by various high quality local artists. The art was pleasant and fresh. Art was lit and displayed beautifully. Not to mention a VERY cute little gift shop. I had the pleasure of meeting gallery owner Sonya in my artist portfolio review session with her. Sonya is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. “My family held a reunion reception and dinner for 105 people at the Assembly Hall in July 2023. I can't say enough about how great the facility was and how wonderful Jody was in accommodating our needs. The location is absolutely gorgeous and has so much character. We could've held our event at a hotel meeting room or a restaurant, but the Assembly Hall was affordable and will be remembered as the perfect place. We had dance, piano, and musical performances on their stage, and used the projector and screen for several slide presentations. The lighting and sound systems were top of the line for this type of facility, and it was very special to be able to have the facility to ourselves instead of sharing a partitioned hotel ballroom with other parties. “Visited this venue for a modern jukebox concert. It was outdoor seating on a rainy day but so glad I made it . They honored their "rain or shine" disclaimer. There was limited Parking offered for cash only visitors and plenty of free nearby street parking . Although it was a chilly wet night the hosts assisted the attendees to find seating quickly and offer to wipe down seats, as well as provide ponchos . They offered snacks and drinks. The concert was one of a kind . The organization of the venue definitely helped with the overall experience .”
“My review is based on my experience as a guest to an event and not as the planner of the event. The place is beautiful. We attended a wedding here and the patio added a sense of spaciousness and relaxation with elegance. The restrooms were clean but they are a bit far from the hall. It is an open space, not ideal if you're looking for total privacy, but I think that's precisely what makes it special. At night, you can see the city lights at the distance. It is a venue I would definitely consider for an event of my own.”
