“Upon check in, the staff were great. Quick, efficient and hospitable. Questions were answered quickly about our AC unit. The housekeeper in the hallway really nice. The bald gentleman the next morning who was helping at the breakfast bar, was very nice and approachable. Jesus was very attentive maintaining and stocking the breakfast bar as quickly as he could. Shout out to him because I thought he was very cute =]
And all great experience! Plenty of restaurants on the same block and walking distance from the hotel.”

“This hotel was nothing but great! Check in was seamless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I forgot a charger and they provided one for me. The room is clean and modern. I only stayed one night as a spontaneous solo travel and this is exactly what I was looking for. It also helped that I got a really good rate. I highly recommend this hotel if you are under 21 and looking for a place that will allow you to check in!”

“I’ve stayed at the Coronado Beach Resort on several occasions. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They are always happy to assist with anything you need, from answering questions about the resort to recommending throughout the San Diego. The location can’t be beat. Steps away from the Hotel Del, multiple restaurants, shops, and the beach.
I’ve stayed in one of the resort’s studio units and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable it is. The kitchenette is the same size as the one found in the one-bedroom units, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. The studio also includes a dining area and a comfortable seating space, so it never feels cramped.
If you’re considering purchasing a week, I highly recommend asking whether a studio unit is available. They’re truly hidden gems that aren’t advertised. Best of all, they’re often available for about half the price of a one-bedroom unit, making them an exceptional value, especially during the summer months.
I’m already looking forward to returning to the Coronado Beach Resort next year!”

“The room is charming. Air conditioning was great. Service was fast and well done. Its a few blocks away from the main shops, but the walk wasnt bad and bikes were offered. The bistro was very good, but no snacks or beverages were available in the evening. Regardless of those, if we come back, we will try to stay here again.”

“Went to the Ayres for a work conference and the staff were always very attentive, friendly, and professional. Don't have a review of the rooms since I am local and didn't need to stay there. The lobby was clean, had many places to sit and a vending machine. Bathrooms were kept very clean. I saw a sign they do taco Tuesdays, I believe they catered one of the days for my conference and the food was great! I'm planning on stopping by for their Taco Tuesday special one day. Even though I didn't stay in the rooms, I'd recommend this hotel for any family visiting. It's close to shops and restaurants, a great location.”

“My son and I stayed here for two days beginning July 15th. We came to San Diego to visit friends.
This place was perfect for us. There were other families there so he had someone to play with in the pool.
We ate at the hotel restaurant twice one time for dinner and on our last morning we had breakfast at the pool.

“Stayed here for a week, what a gem! I was really excited for the arcade games and pool but we didn’t have time to use either. They looked really cool though. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We felt safe walking to and from the trolley. Staff were all friendly and helpful! Cute rooms, comfy beds. The grab n go breakfast was a bit disappointing but was fine for a quick snack. It was a bit of a bummer not having a fridge or coffee maker but we made out fine without. Would definitely stay here again!”

“I had a 2-month stay here and this hotel was fabulous. The front desk staff were so accommodating. So friendly and so helpful. They really made everything wonderful!
I didn't usually partake in breakfast but the friends I was with raved non-stop about how good it was.
The room was very spacious with almost a full kitchen. All it lacked was an oven. There was a full size fridge, an induction cooktop, a dishwasher, and a full sink. I believe with disposal. There was ample room for storage. It felt almost like an apartment and a home away from home. My room overlooked the highway so it was a bit noisy and I was woken up by the forklift guy from Walmart but that's just the nature of the beast of highway hotel. Other people did not have that issue. That's just the room that I was in.
The beds were very comfortable and I really appreciated the extra drawers beyond the closet for clothing. The bathroom had ample space. Though I don't understand what is the deal with the half glass showers? It's all the rage in Europe and I hated it there too. Water always gets outside. Maybe it's the new thing?
In any case, I spent two holidays here and had an incredibly pleasant stay. I was able to keep my bike here and ride from the hotel to the neighborhoods around. If you have a bike it is extremely accessible to anywhere. I rode downtown. I rode everywhere with zero issue.
And what's fabulous is you can walk to the outlet mall. There's a Barnes& Noble and a cheesecake factory and a bath& Body works, etc. It's all right there plus a grocery store and then you can cook in your room and feel right at home.
Probably the only issue I had was with the elevators. There was almost always one of them having an issue but this is going on about 8 months ago so it's probably been fixed by now.
None of that should deter you from staying here. Parking is free and it's a warm, comfortable homey place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel! If I never back in Chula Vista I will stay here!!”

“Really enjoyed our stay here recently. We were in town for the Noah Kahan concert and the hotel’s location to Petco Park was so convenient & within 2 blocks walking distance, which made it really easy to not worry about logistics of getting to and from the park. The hotel itself is decorated beautifully, its welcoming and cozy feeling right upon walking in. Rooms were clean and comfortable, no complaints there. The staff at the front desk at every stop were accommodating, helpful and friendly. They also had a CA resident discount which was appreciated as well. Overall a nice location close to a lot of stuff in the Gaslamp area, and a great stay if you have activities or business in the downtown area.”

“This place was right on the beach. Beautiful views. Friendly staff, huge rooms. Pretty much forced to valet your vehicle, heads up on that. Tons of light comes in from door that you can't block and you can hear your neighbor's. Otherwise was in love and can't wait to go back.”
