They were professional, provided a quote right away and were able to set up and pick up for us at a lower rate than anyone else.The communication throughout was great and the rep on site was super nice. they delivered, set up and picked up and our event went of without a hitch and our pipe and drape looked perfect. “Beautiful Venue and location! I had my baby shower here, it was spacious and plenty of parking for everyone. Andy is a rockstar, he was attentive, caring and quick to respond! I would highly recommend this place. The view of the bay and the sunset was amazing!”

“Canvas in Chula Vista is a venue for private events to accommodate 60 individuals or less. They provided tables, chairs, linens, lounge and any other rentals you may need. They work with multiple vendors that provide different services which make it easier to plan any type of event.”

“I have never stayed at an Ayres hotel. For my business trip , this hotel was the only one close enough to my location. I wasn't thrilled that it was in Chula Vista, but what the heck , the company is paying not me! Looking at the pictures it looked new .i invited the wife and kids to join me and I was very nervous. Once we arrived we realized that this area is a newer development with gated communities and affluent neighborhoods. This location is next to a mall and shopping center that offers plenty of dining and shopping options. Once we arrived to the hotel , we were impressed ! Really clean! Modern looking, and the staff if helpful and friendly. My wife who notices everything and finds things wrong with every room we stay in. Said it was perfect ! The rooms are spacious with a mini fridge, microwave, safe, hairdryer,and ironing boards. There is onsite free parking, laundry room, fitness center, and lobby Bar. Breakfast is included and freshly prepared. I read reviews that didn't like the food. But for a hotel breakfast, it was excellent. And if you don't want to eat here, there is a McDonald's right outside their Front door. I will definitely come back and stay at this location again!! Thank you !!!”

“Organized a group of 20 to do the skeet archery at this Center. Coordination through Christina was smooth, and everyone had a lot of fun the day of. Skeet archery is definitely difficult but a few of our crew managed to hit the targets! We did this a group get together before a wedding but I could see this being great for any friend or team event.”

“There is a gift shop with Olympic merchandise and the highlight of the visit was the tour. There are several different possibilities for the tour, went on a guided tour that included a cart as well as lunch in the dining hall. There are year round athletes training here for both Olympics and para Olympics. There are multiple sports that train here and with guided tour you will get to see the training facilities including the weight room, which was impressive. There were athletes training there so didn’t get to take a picture inside. Would recommend the tour both for the sports and the views.”

“We had a Quinceñera at this venue and it was a total success! Everyone involved in the planning of the Quinceñera was professional, friendly, courteous, positive attitudes and great customer service. Our coordinator Michelle made the experience super easy and transparent, she answered all of our questions with a smile on her face and made sure we understood what happens and is needed for our party. The DJ, bartender, security and servers where all on top of their game! Factory of Dreams Hall is definitely a venue our family will use on our next big event that comes up.”

“I celebrated my daughter’s quinceañera at this hall and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. Working with Tania was easy and she accommodated any requests we had. The hall was ready when we were scheduled to start. The pictures and video services came out better than expected.”

“Very nice venue. The only drawback is that it is a two story venue. Majority of tables are upstairs and the dance floor and bar area is downstairs. May be difficult for older people walking up and down the stairs.”

“The rooms are above average, clean and pleasant smelling.Check in was a breeze. Free breakfast was okay. The food area was pleasantly well stocked and clean.The location is not good. You can easily miss the entrance if you aren't diligent.Plus it is across the street from a school.”

“My last review was of Bowlero in Chula Vista. I gave it less than a stellar review because I couldn’t figure out the oil pattern and bowled the worst I’ve ever bowled … (didn’t even Crack a hundred in 4 games.) However, I feel that may be unfair of me. So, it’s Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, and I'm back to do a second review! Wish me luck! (7:34pm … my reservation is at 8pm.) First game 109, second, 124, …. Last game coming up. Last game, 147.So, tonight, the Lanes bowled like regular Lanes, it was quite exciting! Bowlero-Chula Vista is absolutely a fantastic venue for fun. They have bowling, billiards, arcade games, great food, and great music. The greatest thing is that you can go online and make a reservation, then, you show up, and check-in is super fast and simple. You can book events, parties, or just a lane for yourself…(that’s what I did, you have to call for that, the online reservation is for 4 or more people.) Friday and Saturday nights are their busiest times. If you forgot to make a reservation, you can still show up and get on the wait list. It might take a couple hours, but then you’re good.Let’s talk about customer service. Their customer service is excellent. I booked an event for New Years Eve, it cost me around $164. I wasn’t able to make it to the event. The contract states there are no refunds because they utilize a lot of resources to make an event happen. Knowing this, I emailed the person who had booked the event for me and I asked for a partial refund … (just to see what would happen) … of course, they were unable to issue any type of refund. BUT, they did given me a free hour of bowling on a day and time you prefer, which equals about $45, or roughly 27% of what I paid. I was awed that I got that!! But wait, there’s more. The real customer service happened when I showed up to use my free hour. The manager on duty treated me like I was a celebrity!! I truly appreciated how the staff went out of their way to create a memorable experience for me … it was like I was there on New Years Eve.Now, let’s talk food! I had the Monster Burger, which “is 1/2lb of smashed burger topped with grilled onions, lettuce, pickles, and special sauce” It comes with classic fries, although mine came with the garlic parmesan fries, and a Dr. Pepper. About $21 all together, and scrumptious! Definitely worth it!!So, after further review, Bowlero-Chula Vista, is definitely 5 stars!JANUARY 22, 2024, THIS REVIEW IS MEANT TO REPLACE THE PREVIOUS 5 STAR REVIEW OF BOWLERO IN CHULA VISTA, CA.EVERYONE THAT READS MY REVIEWS KNOWS THAT I'M A STICKLER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. TONIGHT, BOWLERO WAS CLEARLY LACKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.I ARRIVED AT BOWLERO A LITTLE AFTER 9PM TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR UNLIMITED BOWLING SPECIAL.I BOWLED MY FIRST BALL, AND WAITED FOR IT TO COME BACK. IT DIDN'T. I ASKED MANAGEMENT TO CALL FOR A BALL RETURN ON LANE 25, AND I FINALLY GOT MY BALL BACK. I BOWLED MY SECOND BALL, SAME RESULT, MY BALL DIDN'T COME BACK AND I HAD TO ASK FOR A BALL RETURN. I MANAGED TO BOWL A COUPLE OF FRAMES BEFORE I HAD TO ASK FOR ANOTHER BALL RETURN.AT THIS TIME, THE STAFF AT BOWLERO DECIDED TO MOVE ME FROM LANE 25 TO LANE 23. SO FAR, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT HORRIBLE.AS THE NIGHT WEARS ON, I AM BECOMING EVER MORE PERTURBED. 5 MORE TIMES I HAVE TO ASK FOR A BALL RETURN ... A TOTAL OF 8 TIMES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? FINALLY, I'VE HAD ENOUGH. “Recently played here and i was thoroughly impressed. Course is in great condition and offered a lot of challenging holes. The water features offer risk and reward opportunities and reminded me a bit of the courses I played in SE Asia. Store had cool merch. Practice facilities are A1, the carts were super comfortable (same comfortability as Sycuan carts), and the hotdog at the turn was the cherry on top. I will be coming back!”
