“Cute little gem here from the wonderful exhibits inside to the amazing rest located inside. They even have live music at night as well as various classes. Staff are so warm and welcoming and the good was oh so delicious. Ordered the ombo platter and it did not disappoint! Ronnie and Makeda are just the nicest and I even got a tour of their amazing garden. True gem that you must check out! African and Jamaican menu, mostly vegetarian and oh so tasty. Dishes are made with vegetables grown there. A little gem you must check out!”

From the very first time we walked into Flora in San Diego, we just knew this was our wedding venue. There is something truly special about this space, it feels sacred, warm, and alive. The natural light pouring in, the stunning architectural beams, the glowing pendant lights, and the lush living plants woven throughout the entire venue create the most magical atmosphere. It’s modern yet organic, intimate yet open AND the perfect setting for both our ceremony and reception.

THEEEE entire team at Flora is incredible! Planning was such a smooth and enjoyable experience, especially working with in house coordination. Jade is amazzzzing, she was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we envisioned. By the time the wedding day arrived, we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. The entire day flowed seamlessly.
We’re also so grateful to Robin for coordinating the bar and stepping in to help throughout the day of the wedding. The bar service was wonderful, and our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the bartenders — friendly, professional, and so efficient.
And a special thank you to Jameson for being part of the process from start to finish. Having someone so involved and supportive throughout our planning journey meant so much to us.

“On Sunday afternoons at 2:00, you can catch a free hour-long performance at the organ. When we went, a college band was also supposed to perform with the organist, but due to threat of rain, the band had to cancel. Instead, we heard a variety of medleys, including tunes from the Wizard of Oz, the 1920’s and Frozen. So you never know what to expect.
The location offers ample seating on benches. It is out in the open, so prepare appropriately for the weather.
This one is definitely worth the visit. And did I mention that it’s free?”

“We arrived at the gardens in early afternoon and ended up staying almost till closing. Beautiful and serene, peaceful, tranquil paths wind through an intricate garden set in a small valley. Easy to navigate, easy to lose track of time. So many quiet beautiful spots to sit and take in the amazing settings. There are small, almost hidden spots to sit and listen to the birds and trickling waters. A must see if visiting SD.”

“Spectacular wedding/event venue in San Diego!!! We had an amazing wedding here thanks to Jamie, Kevin, Chris, and Igor- a solid experience from beginning to end. Not only is the venue itself amazing (thanks to the gifted gardener Chris), but the people made everything next level. Kevin’s energy on bar (and the DANCE FLOOR!) brought fire to the party, and Jamie and Igor made sure everything was exactly where we needed it to be. “We booked an hour for a soccer team social and it was a blast! We had enough people to rent out the whole inside area. Xander and Claire were our coaches and they were both great. Xander led us through the safety requirements and then let us practice and take turns while giving follow-up tips. Parents and players had room to move around between the throwing cages. There was a central area with couches and tables for people to hang out too. Overall, it was a great time and neat experience.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express San Diego Airport-Old Town! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and check-in was an absolute breeze, and the front desk ladies were efficient and friendly. What really made this experience stand out was the complimentary hot breakfast and its dedicated airport shuttle. We specifically chose this hotel for its convenient transport, and the shuttle was perfectly punctual. A massive shoutout to our driver, Nick! He was incredibly friendly, handled all our heavy luggage with a smile, and got us to the terminal safely and on time. If you are flying out of San Diego International Airport, I highly recommend staying here for a stress-free travel experience.”

“After A Series of Unfortunate Events, finding Rooftop Cinema turned out to be As Good as It Gets.
Arrival was smooth—we felt like Baby Driver handing off the keys with convenient $15 valet parking, saving us from any Fast & Furious parking hassles. Bundling our tickets with popcorn in advance was a total Game Night win with No Time to Die waiting around, and having great drinks ready to go felt straight out of Cocktail under the stars.
A flawless 5-star night from start to finish. I'll Be Back for the sequel!”
