“The beginning was rough with them as they would often not include anything, said my nurse couldn’t request supplies, and delivering meds at the last minute. In the last few months (July ‘24), things have significantly improved. They are finally sending the correct supplies and medication early enough to correct IF there are concerns.
The staff on the phone have always been amazing and responsive. I have always appreciated how the care and concern of the staff I’ve interacted with and have been really pleased with recent procedural changes.”
“We go to both Sam's and Costco. I've been going to Sam's since they opened. It's not as crowded as Costco and carries some brands we like better like Agua Fina water and Starbucks Verona coffee.”

“They're not the easiest to find being tucked behind Kaiser Permanente at Cook and Gerald Ford, but they are well worth the challenge. For years, I went to another compounding pharmacy in Palm Desert for an injectable medication. This went on until they raised their prices. Then I went to a different compounding pharmacy in Riverside, until THEY got too expensive (jacked the price and cut the strength in half. Both pharmacies charge extra for syringes, usually around $5/pack of ten. Ambrosia Compounding Pharmacy is not only $10 less, but they give me two packs of syringes at no extra cost! The medication needs to be kept cool, and the Palm Desert pharmacy would include one cold pack, but it will cost you $2.50 for each additional. Easy comparison: FP in Palm Desert = $160, plus $5 (or $10), plus $2.50 per cold pack. MS in Riverside = $165, plus $5 or $10, no cold pack given. Ambrosia Pharmacy = $150, includes ten syringes AND two cold packs! Simple math.”

“My husband and I get our vaccinations here because it is far and away the most comfortable, friendly and relaxing place to get poked with a needle. We get our Covid, flu, RSV and Shingles shots here and all went very smoothly each time. It is easy to make an appointment online and we generally can schedule it for less than 2 hours in advance. With an appointment the service is fast, and when arriving we can check in quickly before relaxing in the nicely appointed vaccination lounge. We have had a different person administering the shots each time, and each person has been a pleasure to engage with as they are very considerate to make sure you are comfortable and always lighten the mood with a joke or two. I received 3 coupons for 10% off your entire purchase at Vons when I got my Shingles shot last week which was a nice perk! If you're squeamish about getting poked with a needle, this Vons pharmacy is your place to get it done without stress.”

“I'd been using Walgreens for a while, and they kept giving me issue after issue with my Rx's, and the moment my doctor said "CVS would be best" and sent the Rx's over, they had them ready for me in no time and were incredibly compassionate and kind to me as a new customer/patient. This is now the only pharmacy I'll use, and it's only 4 mins from my house! The pharmacist (Ms. Wise I think her name is) as well as the pharmacy tech (guy with black hair) were SO kind! My opinion of CVS has completely changed, thanks guys!!”

“Their auto department has always been helpful and friendly. When I called Costco, they said they had my battery. Went to Costco. Then they said they didn't. Went to Sam's they had it right away! Also got s screaming deal on my tires there. Put it on my nee Sam's club credit card and got another $60 in credit for my purchase. These guys are legit! And the wait is never as long as the dealer. Now if the would just do oil changes!”

“I was informed by urgent care to seek medical attention asap with my pcp and have labs done. I scheduled an appointment for labs through the KP app. After working all day and driving to Palm Desert, I was turned away when I arrived for my scheduled lab appointment. As I left, I called the customer service number and got my angel Gladys on the other end. I had an appointment scheduled for me with Dr. Williams, an order for labs and medication by 7 pm! Gladys definitely made up for the unprofessionalism at the lab, I just feel the receptionist wasn't able to articulate the protocol properly and may require more training. Dr. Williams was absolutely amazing and caring. I'm truly grateful for the Kaiser staff like Gladys, Dr. Williams and the pharmacy department who work with empathy and do their jobs efficiently with their patients' best interest at heart. Gladys was just doing her job, not realizing that she saved me from developing serious complications. I'm forever grateful.”
“We stopped in here for a normal shopping trip yesterday. We have been having a hard time getting one of my daughters diabetic prescriptions due to supply chain issues. I popped by the pharmacy to see if they could get them. This is not our preferred pharmacy from our insurance, but they happened to have what we needed in stock. Here comes the fun part. Getting the prescription transferred. Veronica spent over an hour on the phone for us calling insurance and our other pharmacy which had transferred the prescription to Amazon. She called Amazon as well and she got the prescription stopped with them. Low and behold, after close to 2 hours waiting, we were able to walk out with our Dexcom G7 sensors in hand. Veronica was amazing. She did not have to do all of that for us but she did, and I think if our insurance allows it, we will transfer all of our families prescriptions here. Thank you so much Veronica. It was such a pleasure dealing with someone who actually cares!”

“If you are ever in Walgreens on the corner of Hovley and Washington St in Palm Desert and need photos and help with anything in that department Norma is the BEST. She is patient, kind has a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. She helped me and took the time when I could not get my photos to come up on my phone and I needed them printed out. The kiosk wasn't working right either so she fussed around and figured out a way to work with my phone and the kiosk and she got it done. I was in there quite a long time and she never made me feel uncomfortable and was a pleasure. It's nice to know that we still have people that care and go the extra mile in their job.
