“Great selection of cold drinks, snacks, nuts & dates, produce and flowers. The best price in the valley for a propane refill. Balloonists refill their tanks here, if that tells you anything.”

“I just ate my first bag of popcorn "from the kitchen of Cooking Light Magazine. " The product was fresh and tasty. But there were about two cups of broken and inedible popcorn debris at the bottom of the bag. There is no excuse for shipping that. Scoop from the top and shake the debris down and out.”

“Recently, I found out about this place, and it is awesome! Although it may be small it has so many things from teppoki, boba, rice flower, kimchi, and the list goes on. The process are reasonable, especially given the import tax. Also, when you shop here, make sure you check the sell by date. Since there isn't a whole lot of traffic, stuff tends to sit there for a while so make sure you consume quick. For example, I bought an ube flavoring that expires this August where the pandan flavoring still has a few years to go (they're both the dame brand). Great place and great stuff.”

“Oh my goodness, the strawberries!!! I am from an Orange County and typically go to Manzanero Farms to get the strawberries. We would drive from Huntington Beach to Brea or two Golden West for the strawberries because they were so good but now my sister from Huntington Beach drives to Indio because these strawberries are way too good to be true. They have other produce as well, carrots, heirloom, tomatoes, and various other veggies and fruits, but oh so strawberry delicious my favorite. a tip they taught me that really really works. Do not wash off your strawberries until you are ready to eat them. Just pop them in the fridge as is and when you're ready to eat a few that's when you rinse them.”

“Never thought my day could be made at a water fill up but Carl is one of the coolest most genuine humans I’ve met. He was so appreciative over the small tip that I gave him that he even had me grab a soda from the fridge no charge. Made sure to learn my name and offered help bringing my water back outside. I’m just traveling through and don’t live anywhere around here, but will go out of my way to come back in the future. Thanks again Carl”

“This is a great little meat Mexican meat market with a wide assortment of grocery items plus lots of cold beer. The meat/butcher shop is at the reach, I would recommend the arrechera meat and asked them to prepare it for you. Butcher will prepare it and make it ready for the grill, this meat packs the most flavor and tenderness. This style of meat is on the pricier side but definitely worth the extra splurge. The pollo asado, prepared chicken is also great on the grill. They have the usual variety of tortillas and other items also for sale. At the front by the checkout stand check put the small coolers is stocked with containers of rice, beans, guacamole, and various types of salsa.”

“We use the recycle center. Its gotten hard to find recycle centers in the Coachella Valley. Gas is going up so that's a consideration. We fill up 2 50G bags before its worth the drive. Heads up. This is a gas station. The RC is BEHIND the gas station.”

“I bought 1 lb. Of what supposed to be a snapper fish fillet for $7.00.When I tasted it tasted like Tilapia fillet. Red snapper is a white fish with distinct rich, sweet flavor. I was mislead.”

“This place has a great selection of homemade salsas and a guacamole that is CORRECT. Also fresh looking fish and various meats that you'd expect from a carniceria. Homemade chips by the bag, beer, and tamarind candy round out the necessities of your shopping trip.”

“My go to for the other necessary items to run a household- cleaning vinegar, baking soda, washing soda, fels naptha, etc. They also are increasing the amount of organic and non chemical food stuffs, i.e. Siete snacks with no GMO's, sprouted nuts, snack bars, etc. You have to read each and every label, but I find the increase in health is worth the effort. Mexico has banned GMO's so that is now the closest option for clean and free food!”

“Amazing meat! Colleagues wife, who is Mexican, recommended this place. Came rolling in, just about turned around and left but boy am I glad I overcame my bias. Best meat I've had at the best price. $1.35/lb for the most flavorful marinated chicken, Carne Asada, and other traditional Mexican cuts/preparations you will find. Hate to say it, but the fresh and homemade chicharron was amazing too!. I make a trip here on the first day during our visits to the desert.”
