“I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with the flooring team at The Home Depot in Irvine (on Irvine Blvd, Store #8525), and I can’t say enough good things about the experience...especially Erin, Ben, and one of the store managers, Brian.
From the very beginning, Erin and Ben were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to walk me through all my carpet options, answered every question (and I had plenty), and made sure I felt confident in my decision. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured...just genuinely supported. It truly felt like they were invested in helping me choose the best possible flooring for my home and my family.
And then there’s Brian. His level of involvement and care went above and beyond anything I expected. He personally called me, and even followed up with the delivery team, on a daily basis to help expedite my order and keep my remodeling timeline on track. During what can be a stressful home project, Brian made the entire process feel manageable and prioritized. His communication, professionalism, and dedication were exceptional.
It’s rare to find a team that combines expertise with such sincere customer care. They didn’t just sell me carpet, they made sure the entire experience was smooth, thoughtful, and positive from start to finish. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and can’t thank them enough. So glad this is a few blocks from my house, and I will continue to shop here and recommend it to my friends for a long time because of these types of experiences.”

I want to personally thank you for over delivering on customer service. My husband does extensive research before purchasing anything. After completing his research, he chose Home Depot to purchase a weed eater, only to be told that the model he wanted was out of stock.
After speaking with Melissa for a few minutes, my husband walked away, assuming that was the end of it. Moments later, Melissa came running to let him know she had found exactly what he was looking for in the back, a Ryobi 40 Volt weed eater that came with a battery and charger for the same price I would have paid for one from eBay and the swap meet at Orange Coast College. I'm glad I bought it from Home Depot because it comes with a 3 year warranty.
Sometimes, the small things that mean the most to customers go unnoticed. I want you to know that your service was truly meaningful to my husband. Those extra efforts, going out of your way without being asked, make a lasting impact.

“I could say A LOT about the 120lb washer I ordered new online arriving used, dented, and leaking, but the truth is I'm just grateful the manager, Curtis, understood my predicament and took the intiative to make sure I got the help needed to send the 120lb washer back as soon as possible.

“I recently visited the Garden Grove home Depot and to say I was sorely disappointed is the understatement of the year. I was greeted by a very nice young man as soon as I arrived. I believe his name was Tommy, Within seconds of my arrival after being greeted, I'm assuming a manager approached this young man who berated him terribly for not greeting me. I was in shock that a manager or whoever she was would speak to an employee this way! Especially for accusing him of not greeting me, when that was not the case! I was appalled to say the least. She never directly spoke to me or greeted me just ignored me while accusing an employee of false behavior. Very unprofessional. As the next day approached I returned to this home Depot to exchange an item. I walk in the entrance exchange my item and pick up a few more things. I see a young man walking around with a cart so I ask him for assistance, I requested his attention several times, I guess due to his music playing on a small speaker in the he cart he was pushing around he could not hear me! Come to find out to, his name was Jared. So frustrating. I returned to this page just to inform people who this actually was. I knew he was an employee by his orange apron. I get to the front of the store no one to help me check out but all the cashier's speaking Spanish to each other completely acting like we customers don't exist. Such a sad situation what had become of this Home Depot! Tommy is the only reason I will drive from Huntington Beach to shop here! Well done Tommy, Thank you for making me feel noticed and valued, maybe other employees can see your performance and take note!!! I appreciate your patience in not making me feel rushed and your expertise knowledge!I changed my two star rating to five and these are a reflection Tommy's customer service skills. I sure hope Tommy continues to be an employee of Home Depot,if for any reason I don't see Tommy to help me, honestly I can say I will not return to this exact Home Depot location! “BETTER VALUE ! Ever since my wife and I landed in the USA over 16 years ago we've been bigger fans of Lowe's Home Improvement stores than The Home Depot stores. Lowe's are usually neater, bathrooms are upfront and have better choices in some areas particularly in the Garden Center. THE PRICES ARE BETTER ! During the heavy rain and gale force winds in Irvine recently some of our stuff on the back patio was damaged. A cute potted succulent arrangement which was a gift to my wife a couple of years ago from a former work colleague was chipped badly. I needed to find an identical size pot which looked similar to replace it. And I looked everywhere with no luck until I popped in here on Thursday....found it in 60 seconds. HOW'S THAT ! In fact I had a choice of 3 patterns all for under $10...my max spend. TOO EASY ! I took it home and did a succulent arrangement transplant and it looks even better now. Friendly service at the checkout. MY WIFE IS HAPPY !”
