“Decided to make our son 2nd generation KYL! It's great to have a family-oriented place where kids are developed in sports and character. It's not super competitive but there's definitely room for good solid athleticism to be formed. Racially diverse and feels very welcoming for all. I see many of the faces I saw 30 years ago when I played sports at KYL and it says a lot that their kids and grandkids are still involved too.”

“The place was clean and a perfect location for anniversary party a wedding party it was so classic and everyone that came treated classic it was so nice and our family since we have so many children and teenagers whatever we do they always included at every function and gathering that way you teach children how to be classic and to behave it was my first time there at the lodge and it was very accommodated for handicap or anybody ♥️?”

“This is one of the two churches I visited back in Easter since I am new to the SGV and I have been looking for a new home church, after calling the one in Irvine my home church for close to 4 years.The people are friendly and welcoming. They even have a Young Adults group that I checked out once a few Sundays after my Easter visit.Like every big church, it is a bit of a challenge to make friends and build meaningful connections, but just like everything else in life; you get out of it what you put in. If I lived closer and started attending this church regularly, I am sure I'd be able to build a solid group of friends and to find a home in here.Highly recommended church if you're from the area!”

“My 3 y.o. daughter absolutely loves this place! The teachers really make all of the children feel included and loved. I feel like it's more of a preschool. My daughter's speech, behavior, and learning has improved so much since coming here. Thank you to Ms. Gloria, Ms. Grace, Ms. Carmen, and Ms. Jenny for creating such a fun, safe, clean, and educational space for the students. You are all wonderful leaders. I highly recommend this day care/pre school for your child.”

“This beautiful and rustic space has been the home of so many wonderful memories over the years. I’ve attended weddings, taken educational workshops, enjoyed professional dancers and musicians traveling through, watched theatrical experiences, enjoyed movie nights, shared wonderful dinners… the list goes on. So happy that Nature Friends is easily accessible for folks like myself here in LA. I also love that it’s situated right at the edge of the Angeles National Forest - you never know what amazing wildlife you’ll witness.”

“A friend of mine who volunteers her time with the Assistance League of Arcadia at the Bargain Box told me to check it out and so glad I did... 5 stars!!!!! If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.”
“This is probably the best hospital in the whole world! Excellent service! My father stayed in this hospital for a month after being treated in ICU in another hospital. Mani made us feel welcomed immediately and played a big role in keeping my dad stable by monitoring his heart and breathing closely . I am giving this hospital and their amazing NURSES, RTs, PTs and DOCTORS 5 STARS. They provided excellent care to my father.There were so many kind, compassionate and attentive nurses. Nurse Phoebe, Ashley, Tami, Shantel, Embay And there are some more. All of them were so great. Thank you to all that helped his stay be the best that it can be. My family and I appreciate you all.Bethany is an amazing social worker who cares deeply about her clients. She goes above and beyond to assure the appropriate services are rendered. She is a great listener and constantly follows up to make sure our needs are met. I was extremely satisfied and grateful for her care and assistance during my father’s stay at Barlow Respiratory hospital.My family was extremely grateful and satisfied how well she handled his case, by assuring that all his needs were met.”

“Great place to go and spend quality time with your children if it is that dcfs is involved in your life and require you.to have monitors over look you and your childrens bonding time...not giving me the 3 days x 3 hour's that the judge ordered them to but to there convience nothing is on the line like as if missing out on the other 6 hour's im entitled to being with my son whichnin reality 24hrs in a day 7 days a week well you do the math....168 hours but who's counting right..so 9 minus 168...you get the picture its not even a quarter of his precious childhood im only missing out on being my first baby ever...yeah they want to place so i bite my tounge that way I don't end up biting there heads off figuratively speaking ...dont go assuming and taking it personal or serious...it's just business as you ppl would say , right?”
“Adopted multiple dogs from this organization! They truly care about the animals and want nothing but the best for them ! Very sweet people even made sure we left with the proper supplies to make our fur babies right at home ! Easy process and they love hearing about how the dogs are doing years later ! “Generally a good place, with one improvement needed: serve the two lines more evenly so it's first come, first served.I appreciate the opportunity to get food for someone that is having a hard time right now. Most of the volunteers are very helpful and friendly. Sometimes they even offer to pray for you.However, they need to be more attentive to serving the two lines of cars more evenly. They claim that one line isn't faster than another, but it's not true.Tonight I made a mental note of the license plate of the last car in the other line (that I wasn't in) when I got in line. That car made it through the line much faster.So, I waited a lot longer than I would have if I had been in that line. I pointed it out to a worker and asked her to tell a supervisor. She agreed that they were "off-balance" tonight (serving one line more often than the other).I realize that it's a free service; however, it's frustrating to see other cars coming after you and getting served first. This has happened on other visits as well.It's about 45 minutes to an hour total from the time I start waiting in line until I leave. So, being served in first come, first served order would help.SUGGESTION: Give drivers an index card with a number on it as they arrive, then call them out in numerical order.”
