“A savior to all little critters in need of help.I've dropped off a baby bird, a mole, a vole, a mouse & a gopher.. all in need of healing in some way! Awesome people who keep this place going!”
“I recently toured the asap facility. The cats are so well loved & cared for. I am amazed that there’s an amazing program for senior cats… if you foster a senior cat, ASAP provides food & vet care for them. It’s the 4th of July today and I plan to visit my furry friends this afternoon. Thanks ASAP… y’all provide an amazing service to our Santa Barbara community:))”
“**February 2024: Monday Late Morning Visit** I've been to a number of Assistance Leagues throughout California and I really like this branches selection and layout. They have a wide selection of women's apparel and four dressing rooms. In the back of the shop are the higher quality items that are also separated by garment type. It has a very boutiquey feel to it and all the volunteers are super sweet. Prices were very fair/competitive to other thrift shops, but I scored a long sleeve and slacks for half off. The next time I'm in the Santa Barbara area I will definitely be back!”
“The place is very nice. The community team are wonderful. Not sure how many countries there are sending their emergency kits. But the feeling that be part of the volunteer process is grateful knowing that someone else somewhere get this help.”
“I was grateful for the food deliveries from Food from the heart. This food really is from the heart. The meals are nicely packaged/ the meals were fresh and real dinners - lunch and breakfast were given, along with fresh fruits and vegetables. A positive news letter was also given with the meals that will give you some giggles while you’re recovering from surgery or any other illnesses that limit you from providing yourself with meals. I loved the homemade meals- grateful and blessed.”
“I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Richard Copelan, the CEO of the Better Business Bureau of the TriCounties in California. I was connected with him to assist in resolving some issues surrounding the transfer of our headquarters to another state. Mr. Copelan was extremely considerate and understanding of the situation. Despite the fact that they were closing within 10 minutes, he took ownership and ensured the issue was resolved promptly.
One would not typically expect a CEO to personally handle a call from an employee performing a transaction for her CFO, but Mr. Copelan did just that, offering an excellent customer experience. He exemplifies the true definition of customer service, getting in the field and working alongside his representatives to provide the best service to his clients.
Thank you, Mr. Copelan, for being a perfect gentleman and going above and beyond to ensure our situation was resolved. I highly recommend seeking BBB accreditation for your local business in the TriCounties area.”

“I have known the Fish Reef project for over a decade. One of the few organizations out there making a tangible difference. If your passion is Ocean Health, please support them, they are the solution for the restoration of the lost west coast kelp forest.”

“If there are paranormal experiences, 'criminals lurking', and 'even homeless people' (oh no!!) at St. Vincent's, it sounds like exactly the place where Christ would be. Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” -Matthew 9:12-13”
“This is a small store but they carry lots of vegan brands that you would find in stores like Whole Foods. They also have some of their own vegan meals, prepackaged and ready to eat - like a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan Alfredo pasta. I discovered some new things here- like the "so good" brand miso mayo dressing! The selection differs day to day. Some days they sell out of some options, like the vegan cupcakes. You need to come back when they restock. That's the only con. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-10”
