“I love this place. I get so much out of the recovery meetings they have. From AA to NA pretty much all day long. What a blessing this place is. If you are looking to celebrate or get a token or a chip this is your place in East county.”

“Went to the Ayres for a work conference and the staff were always very attentive, friendly, and professional. Don't have a review of the rooms since I am local and didn't need to stay there. The lobby was clean, had many places to sit and a vending machine. Bathrooms were kept very clean. I saw a sign they do taco Tuesdays, I believe they catered one of the days for my conference and the food was great! I'm planning on stopping by for their Taco Tuesday special one day. Even though I didn't stay in the rooms, I'd recommend this hotel for any family visiting. It's close to shops and restaurants, a great location.”

“The PAC is obviously new, and it's a beautiful two-story building. It has an elevator and two entrances for the principal theater. Inside, the Black Box Theater is also located, which is a smaller, circular, well-adapted space with good sound. It has ample parking space. I do have something that I found not pleasing, and it has to do with the first-floor restrooms. In the ladies' restroom, the one designated for people with disabilities doesn't have a coat hook to hang a purse. This means that there is no other choice than leaving the purse on the floor, which is not only difficult for picking it up or getting anything needed, but it is also disgusting and unhygienic. I have made notice of it to them on several occasions, but maybe they just don't think it's important enough. Hopefully, students who need to use the designated stall with appropriate modifications will find a nice surprise this summer and the missing hook will already be installed.

The 2026 Fall semester will start soon, and still no coat hanger hook has been installed in the ladies' restroom's assigned stall for people with mobility issues ?”

“Got second to last in a tournament here not too long ago here lol. Nice place was bored but not their fault. Got checked in got inspected then I got to the line. And then my tiring tournament began. 5 stars.”

“I was there for the German m
Christmas Market and want to join. They do the best food and music! Keep it up! They have indoor and portopotties.

I'd recommend putting the ticket booth in a direction or with some relief from the sun. The two times I've been there the ticket takers were kind of blinded. I'd also give folks a heads up where to park when the lot is full, aside from street parking. It would be great to get some different, new venders in there. I'd recommend bringing water because it was difficult and a long line to get it.”

“I would be honored to explore and learn how women could enhance and grow from the teachings. Never had the opportunity although men on my grandfather's side were practising Mason and my son was offered sponsorship. The history is fascinating, the strength overwhelming and the brotherhood captivating. In memory of Philip Moe my hero.”

“This hall is the absolute best! The owner is so sweet and caring and treats you with so much respect! My husband and I had our wedding here and let me tell you the food was magnificent the appetizers were so good and everyone had an amazing time! Thank you so much Royal palace this will be my place for every event!”

“Prestige Banquet Hall is under new ownership and management, and the difference is amazing. The team is very professional, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The food quality is outstanding, especially the beef tikka — they use prime ribeye, and it’s incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor.

The grilled fish is honestly one of the best in El Cajon. All of the appetizers are fresh daily and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the prices are very affordable for the quality and portion sizes you get.

The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for dinners, parties, and special events.”

“Attended a retirement party in the hall. It was spacious with clean bathrooms for the guests and looked like it had a good-sized kitchen to serve their guests. Nice experience.”

“This review is only for the high school beach volleyball area. They have enough courts available to host about 4 schools at one time. I would recommend bringing your own chair. They do have a set of metal bleachers on the bluff above the courts, but they are placed far off to the right side only giving a good view of some of the courts. The sand could use a bit of leveling. There are two portable bathrooms down by the players’ area. There is ample parking right next to the sand area, but we are not allowed to park there. Spectators must park at the top near the main entrance and hike down. There is a slight hill you need to walk up on the return. There is one water fountain available, but no food or vending machines nearby.

Pros: handicap accesible, amazing views, accommodates many games at one time
Cons: parking, no shade for spectators unless you sit down on the players’ bleachers, no food/drinks for sale”

“I attended a fundraiser for Pregnancy Care Center. The venue was excellent. They had security, outside non-alcoholic drinks with spinach-stuffed hor d'Oeuvres while the 500 guests were arriving. Once the seating began it was very orderly! The tables were beautiful and the chairs were comfortable. The food was one of the highlights of the night. There was a choice of Chicken or Eggplant as main entrée, served along with mashed potatoes, yellow rice and a mixture of green & yellow zucchini. There was white cake with white creamy frosting and berries for dessert! Dinner was also served with rolls, tea, water, and coffee! If you need a place to hold an event, try this lovely place first! ?”

“I love golfing here, it’s my preferred course even though I live 30 minutes away. Which says a lot! Great price and the greens are surprisingly well maintained for how busy they are!”

“We had our engagement party here, and from the very first day we met Suha, she was incredibly helpful and supportive. She went above and beyond for us, answering late-night calls and messages and helping with every little detail to make sure our event was perfect. Charcoal House is truly lucky to have someone like her. She treated our party as if it were her own and was always patient, kind, and accommodating no matter how many questions we had.

The food was amazing, all of our guests loved it, and the service was exceptional as well. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and overall it was such an amazing experience and a beautiful celebration.”

“The best of the best! Played Pine Glen (9 hole par 3 course) and was stunned by the condition of both the course and entire facility. The course only costs $20 (walking), which is a steal! Greens and fairways are in some of the best condition I've seen around the county. The 9 hole course is an easy walk with some interesting holes to offer. Bathrooms are readily available on the course as well.
Driving range is the largest and nicest I've seen, and the entire area around the pro shop has a lot to offer. A 19th hole restaurant, plus several practice putting greens and chipping greens. It's a very state of the art golf experience.
Really impressed and will return to play the 18 hole courses soon!”

“I loved my visit to the hotel because of Liridona. she is the top reason I would stay here. she was working many hours and was very patient with me and kind. Its hard to find a kind and patient person that feels genuine. Marriot is lucky to have you. it seems she is there 24 hours and gives all her precious time to make sure guests are treated to the best standard. the hotel is an oasis in the middle of El cajon. it is a taste of luxury in the hot mess of the city. Liridona is the angel that makes El cajon a better place and the experience at Marriot heavenly.”

“Prepare yourself, this course is tough, probably one of the toughest in San Diego county. Fairways and green are in good shape, and staff is friendly. Great course with great views and lots of challenges. There are some patchy spots if you mis-hit off the fairway, but overall for the price point of around $40-$50 on a weekday, the course is hard to beat for the thrills it brings. Highly recommend, go and try it out!”
