The Crown Motel is a solid, no-hassle place to stay on the lake in Kings Beach, perfect for quick Tahoe getaways. It is not fancy and not overpriced, offering clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms, some with beautiful lake views and kitchenettes. The older building is kept in tip-top shape. Its perfect location allows easy walks to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, other beaches, and cafes. Guests can enjoy the beach, pool, lakeside jacuzzi, and access to lake equipment rentals. It is a great base for North Lake Tahoe, close to Northstar and the Nevada line. The staff provides friendly, fantastic service. It is a fantastic place for the price, highly recommended for a family escape.

Perfect location, great view, spacious room. Easy walks to restaurants, shops, etc. Very clean. An older building, but they keep it in tip-top shape. We had 2 beds since king bed rooms were sold out… suggest you reserve early. We will definitely return, highly recommend.
