“I love this place! The prices are great ( I spend wayyyyyy to much money here). The Instagram stories are so fun to watch and make me sad that I can't shop every single day! The service here is amazing! The people are soooo nice. I don't mind waiting outside so that other people can shop! I love how they restock each shop day. I kind of like the small space, there are so many treasures hidden. I love and cherish everything I buy here. My grandma loves the plants!”

“This is a small thrift store in the heart of Del Mar with volunteers who are friendly and customer-focused. It's well organized. Selections are limited, but I always seem to find something when I visit. Yesterday, it was a festive martini glass for $2 to replace one that broke a few years ago that was part of a set. Parking is in the Church lot, so make sure to get a 1-hour permit from one of the volunteers. There's a 20% discount on Tuesdays for Seniors 55+ and Military.”

“G'mach aka "The Jewish Gift Closet" is such a wonderful place.. The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”

“This is my favorite thrift store in San Diego. They always have nice stuff and in very good condition. I think it is family owned business and the costumer service is amazing.”

“Usually can find decent stuff. The employees park in the customer lot that's why you can't find spots. You can see them come out to take breaks in their cars sometimes.”

“I absolutely adore this place! Everyone is so pleasant and helpful! Upon my return to my hometown of San Diego last summer (May 2023) I was homeless and sleeping in a tent in a canyon behind the Blind Center on Upas Street. I needed an outfit for a job interview, but had no money so I thought to go here and ask for assistance. The ladies gladly gave me an outfit and to this day I still have that job. True angels are employed at this establishment.”

“Lots of great small decor as well as clothing and some furniture items to decorate your home! Bought a keurig pod holder, a vase, and trinket for 4.99 or less each. Friendly staff too”

“This is a really cool resale/thrift shop. They have a great variety of unique items. From clothes to plant to music item it covers a lot of stuff. At night they turn it into a live music venue. All types of original music in the best part of OB! The owners and staff are really nice and show the best part of the "chill" of OB. This pic is of Amanda Fagan and her band.”

“This place is a Treasure trove and has a lot of big labels for clothing. I've snagged a small turn of the century table there that is absolutely gorgeous. The music is pipped through the speakers, I just usually wear air iPods. The staff are not welcoming or kind, which is kind of surprising given they are attached the rock church.”

“Good AC. Clean. Organized by size. Decent selection for a smaller store. They have fitting rooms too (the ones in LA don't!) Street parking all around though it can get busy since Hillcrest is a popular area but worth stopping in.”

“The perfect thrift store experience. There are so many amazing vintage items, the owner is extremely friendly and fair, and there's a store cat !!! I'm absolutely coming back. A hidden gem of a place. :)”

“For the clinic, the service is good. The guard is excellent. I am talking about the guy who watches my bike. For the meals, organized, dog table helps save time. Guards overzealous.”

“Upon our arrival the staff warmly welcomed us, displaying exceptional friendliness and ensuring that everything was impeccably organized. However, it's worth noting that the dressing room is somewhat makeshift, so be prepared to change in very dimly lit quarters (almost dark) with limited space. Furthermore, if you want to see how your clothes fit, you have to step outside the makeshift dressing room and be in front of other shoppers to look in the mirror. On a positive note, the pricing is quite reasonable, and the overall quality of the clothing left a favorable impression.”

“We've been going here sporadically over a decade. They have really good options for thrifting, for all ages and sizes. The operating hours vary but it's definitely worth looking into.”

“Great staff!!! Selection is as good as what people donate, so donate! Got a $5 off coupon since I had some stuff to donate, and found a $50 pair of jeans for $4 and in great shape. Do the math!”

“Clean, well organized Goodwill with a nice layout. The items here are in better condition than I normally see in a Goodwill. There's also a decent selection of movies and video games, too. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a Marshall's rather than a Goodwill!”

“Goodwill is the bomb dot com when it comes to thrift shopping. They've got a huge selection of clothes, shoes, accessories, and even household items. The prices are wallet-friendly, and you can find some real gems if you're willing to dig a little. Plus, knowing that your purchases support job training and employment opportunities for people in need makes it even better. Goodwill is definitely a go-to spot for all your thrifting adventures!”

“Great location. If you're somehow bothered by the presence of unhoused people around this location then I recommend you go to a suburban location and don't badmouth poor folk.”

“Alright, listen up! Goodwill is the real deal when it comes to thrift shopping. They've got a massive selection of clothes, shoes, accessories, and even home goods. The prices are totally wallet-friendly, and you can uncover some serious hidden gems if you're willing to do some digging. Plus, by shopping at Goodwill, you're supporting a good cause and helping the community. So if you're all about finding unique items and giving back, Goodwill is the place to be!”

“This little thrift store is very little. Like, the size of a bedroom. However, their prices are very reasonable and we were able to find 5 pieces of clothing to buy. I would for sure return. Keep your expectations low because of the size only, but be optimistic.”

“It's a pretty good size, i like that in a goodwill. It had a decent amout of items. Just breezing the items, it seemed like the higher end stuff gets sent to the online store. The staff seemed nice. Parking was easy. Just didn't really see anything to buy, which is weird when in a large goodwill.I try it again, maybe it was an off day.”

“I work there and I love it and everyone that works there and shops there. Very reasonably priced and new product every day and a 50% off color of the week every week and we don't charge tax. Love, love, love it. Come see for yourself.”

“Remember thrift stores in the early 2000s? Like it was an actual treasure hunt? Good finds mixed in with literal garbage. This place has those vibes. Well, their pricing is definitely more modern but what place doesn’t have crazy pricing these days. They put out a lot of stuff that goodwill would just toss, which is very appreciated!!!I always donate here instead of goodwill because I actually see the items I donated out on the floor. With goodwill they sell the good stuff online or put it in a store that isn’t local. So again, very much appreciate that. Some of the pricing is so high on random items. Right now they have 2 dozen empty beer bottles selling for $1.99 a piece(????) it would be cheaper to buy the bottles with the beer still in it lmfao. But then you’ll find a discontinued build a bear for 5% of the price it’s selling for online. So sometimes their random pricing sucks and sometimes it’s a win. As I said, it’s a treasure hunt. But if you’re like me and seem to gravitate towards stuff most people don’t want anything to do with, then I would definitely give this place a shot. Weird finds and nice layout.”

“Emily was wonderful and made us feel welcome. The manager (didn't catch her name because she barely acknowledged us and just kept asking seemingly scripted questions as if pretending to be a human being and then not actually listening to the answers) took over in the middle of Emily taking care of us and barked orders at the other employees, making us and other customers feel uncomfortable. She was extremely rude and made us feel d*** and like we were inconveniencing her. Sorry, Emily, that you have to work with such a negative Nancy! You are a gem, however!! Thank you for your patience and compassion!”

“Too bad this doesn't have better reviews because we thought it was fantastic! The prices were good, the selection and sizes perfect! I got a shirt and a pair of comfy shorts. Also, we just had fun taking pics with their fun selection of sunglasses.”
