“I love this cozy grocery store tucked away from the hustle and bustle of other areas. The shelves are always well stocked, very clean, there's a retro 90s vibe that is very nostalgic and they aren't treating their customers like criminals (like Vons and Ralphs are with their plexiglass all the things attitude, security gates, etc.). Prices seem on-par, but even if they are a bit higher at least I'm supporting a local mom & pop type business, not a huge corporation.”

“Whenever I'm around this area, I drop by. They have all sorts of vegetables, fruits, snacks, dry goods and a small butcher area. The staff is always friendly, I feel welcomed here. It's a go to place for people who lives near by. It's an Asian market with so many stuff that you'll need last minute. Parking is pretty good unless you catch them at a busy time! They have lotto here. Who knows you can be the next billionaire”

“Carnival Supermarket is a hidden gem in Clairemont. If you love all things Mexican like I do then this is the spot. Fresh made tortilla, extensive hot bar & cold bar offering carne asada, chicharron, beans, rice, chicken, guacamole, several different house made salsas, ceviche, and so much more. Their roasted chicken is juicy and full of flavor. Beautiful bakery, produce, fruits, fresh squeezed juices. The meat department offers great beef, poultry, pork and seafood. The staff is super nice and so helpful. This is my go to market. Don’t miss the big dill pickles available in the meat department. They are the bomb.”

“Service at the grocery order pick up is always phenomenal. The orders come out every fast and the associates are always very friendly. A few special shout outs- the younger man with the long hair is a rock star! He is always in such a great mood and kind, always enjoy seeing him. Also, today I picked up an order and the young woman that helped me was great. Even after we were helped and about to leave another associate came over to check on us and provide assistance. That right there is amazing customer service. Please let the associates at this location know their hard work is noticed and appreciated!”
