Carnival Market is a hidden gem located in a Kearny Mesa neighborhood. It is an excellent market for Hispanic products with a tremendous selection. It is considered the best place to buy fruits and vegetables, with a wonderful selection of produce that is delicious, of high quality, and offered at lower prices. The market has a real butcher counter with a great selection of meats like carne asada and al pastor, including marinated meats, chicken, pork, and fish. There is an authentic Mexican hot food to go counter with all the Mexican delicacies, and the prepared foods are so delicious. The market also features a tortilla factory making warm and delicious corn and flour tortillas all day long. It offers an excellent selection of canned goods, packaged foods, frozen foods, beer, wine, liquor, and paper products, plus a section for freshly made Mexican pastries. There is a small indoor eating area to sample some foods. The people working there are very nice and helpful. It is a fantastic market stocked with amazing flavors at a fair price and is highly recommended.
