Tubbys TCG is a very welcoming and nice place with a friendly and chill owner. The shop has down-to-earth vibes and the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Customers report a great experience, feeling treated very nicely and respectfully. The business truly cares about its customers, making the customer first and the money second. They are fair and are not focused on trying to make money off of people, preferring to get the customer what they want rather than upsell.
The shop has an awesome collection of singles for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, making it a great spot for all those TCG needs. It is considered the best shop for that in the San Diego area. People have pleasant interactions, whether they are newbies, selling cards, or, like one child, opening packs in the store and pulling awesome hits. The experience is so positive that customers are dying to go back again and will definitely be going back. They also have an online store for continued support.
Always enjoy coming here and buying single cards, sealed product, and sifting through their many boxes of bulk. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about various tcgs. They also host multiple tournaments for various tcgs. 100% recommend if you're looking for a welcoming card shop to call your 2nd home.
