“It’s been ten years, but if I’m honest with myself, not a month goes by where I don’t think about my Corralitos experience. In 2014 my wife and I did a road trip from San Francisco to Austin, Texas. A few nights in we stopped off to surf in Capitola. Once we were done, we were asking about a good place to get some meat for a barbecue. They made a suggestion that would change my life forever. Once we’d followed the directions they gave to Corralitos we arrived at the unassuming butchers. We bought a selection of fantastic sausages and the a bag of barbecued “tri-tips” being from the UK, we’d never heard of these and boy were we in for a treat! Over the course of the next couple of days we chomped through this fine selection of meats and still to this day I’ve never eaten a “beef based product” as delicious as freshly barbecues Tri-tips from Corralitos - It’s taken me too long to write this review, but alas a decade later… here it is”
“Thank goodness for Staff of Life! SoL has the best prices in town on many of my favorite products, including Santa Cruz Mexican Organic coffee, organic coconut milk, tofu, and craft brews. Where else can you find so many nice bakery goods and carry them away in little paper bags instead of oversized unrecyclable plastic clamshells? An excellent selection of produce. The freshest eggs, dairy, and cheeses. Locally caught fish, organic and natural meats, everything fresh and properly handled by the knowledgeable staff. Bulk bins with an extensive selection, including herbs and spices for a much lower price than the packaged spices sold elsewhere, and you control the quantities. Reusable plastic bottles for oil, and liquid soaps and other grooming products. This is the way that I like to live. P.S. If you're a senior, be sure to ask for the discount. :)”
“Love the chicken plate, comes with rice, beans, salad, salsa and tortillas! The best chicken in the 831 area, the food is so authentic and absolutely love the food section! Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food!”
“Listen up folks...this place is so legit..omg, talk about premium flavor. I have had pretty much everything she makes and it is delicious and wonderful. I'm talking about hot soups in the winter like potato leek, chicken veggie, beef chile, black eyed pea and more. Oh and then there is the fresh baked bread too! Super wow! Oh and the breakfast burritos hit the spot, mang! The turkey chorizo is off the chain with a little kick in it. Oh and the ribs..if you are lucky enough to find ribs in there, then you best grab em up because they fall off the bone and soak up right into your soul. I could go on and on. Highly recommend this joint.”

“Pastrami Ruben was pretty good. Sauerkraut nice good toasted sourdough bread lots of pastrami, meat and gooey cheese. Needed a little more thousand island dressing and or mustard. They have other pastrami combinations one with pesto and a cold one with cheese.”

“Absolutely love this store and the new ownership. They have the most incredible fresh organic Sourdough bread that is similar to the bread what I am use to when visiting Europe. The selection of specialty foods is incredible, even for those with allergies. Grateful for this store!”
“I was on vacation with my family in Northern CA and we were passing by from San Jose to Monterey and needed some things so we stopped by this store. They had literally everything we needed. It's like a one stop shop. I got my kids beanies and toys to entertain themselves in the car. If you ever in need of anything, this is the place to stop by. They will have what you are looking for! Also they have the friendliest workers. Helped my find everything I needed!”
“I left a review 6 years ago but felt I the need to leave an updated one.Although it has always been a 5 star place, the full coffee bar, amazing handmade pastries, jams, sandwiches and soups, pottery, herbs and tinctures, clothing, jewelry, and stickers as well as a fantastic selection of organic corner store needs.For such a tiny place they have an incredible selection. The local community vibe including learn not to burn, herb classes and the much awaited Mom's and Daughters group make it extra special. This family owned and operated store is one of those places we NEED! I've watched this kids grow, learn to bake, make coffee, run the register and go off to college.Thanks Gina for supporting all of us!If you have the urge to go in... JUST Do it! “A hidden gem in our community! This family run business is friendly and welcoming, with great food. I'd been curious about this place for some time, and decided to stop in today. I was surprised to see that they have house made salads, sandwiches, soup, and all kinds of smaller dishes. They also have a wonderful selection of delicious baked goods baked in house and a coffee bar, not to mention a wide variety of produce. I will be back to visit many more times in the future.”

“The tacos are here absolutely amazing, 5 stars. This has become my new favorite taco truck in the area. Portions are good, the meat portions on the tacos are generous, they always give cucumbers and limes in addition as well. They're friendly and courteous and I will be back many many times.”
“Went in to grab some pizza dough and sauce. I didn't find it at first. When I asked an employee restocking the shelves he was really motivated to help me: sifting through some shelves finding the product I missed.He also pointed me to the deli where I might be able to grab fresh dough. When asking the deli counter if they still had some dough left I was helped quickly and left with what I needed for a lot cheaper than I anticipated.”
“This is a great local market. They have groceries, milk, many different types of beer, liquor, fishing supplies and bait. They have corn dogs, burritos and chicken wings hot ready to go everyday. Also propane! What a great place. The best friendly staff are amazing!”

“Unique little place to shop. I’m from out of town and stopped in for some minor stuff. Was surprised at all the products I’ve never seen before in any other store. They even have a little taco/burrito place in the back of the store with amazing food. Everyone spoke Spanish but when they realized I did not they were friendly and accepted my disability lol. Parking lot is a bit small but I got my bobtail (tractor only) semi in there no problem. I really had a good time shopping there looking at all the unique stuff.”

“This place is great, there is always helpful/ staff except for one young lady with straight black hair. I wish i could of gotten her name, ive only seen her 2xs and both times she seemed bothered by working there. The young lady helped me with my purchase, gave me my receipt, but did not tell me thank u, or to have a nice day. Not even a here you go or see u next time. No communication from her at all. Ill make sure to avoid her next month i go in/ get her name”
