“The phlebotomist, Christina H. is truly an angel (she was literally an answer to my prayer as we were driving to LabCorp). The patient is my 77 year old special needs brother, who also has Parkinson’s Disease, which causes a tremor (so a moving target for anyone attempting to draw blood), AND, his veins are typically difficult to hit. Additionally, he has had some traumatic lab draw attempts, which causes him to be more anxious about having to have any blood work done. At one doctor’s office a few years ago, the nurse tried unsuccessfully three times, and then it took the doctor two more attempts before he got the blood sample. Recently, at a different doctor’s office, the nurse tried twice unsuccessfully, my brother fainted, threw up when he came to, and threw up again as soon as we got home. So it is against this backdrop that Christina H. came into my brother’s world. I filled her in privately about some of my brother’s history, and his special needs before she called his name. She was very kind, and treated him with dignity and respect. He asked her if she is a Dodger’s fan, and she said, “Yes!,” so he felt like he was in friendly territory, which helped him to relax a little in her presence. Most importantly, Christina’s technique was absolute perfection, which was captured by the confused look on my brother’s face when we told him she got his vein on the first try. He was perplexed because he said he didn’t feel the sting, and she wasn’t needing to move the needle around under his skin to try to get the blood to flow. When Christina was done, she pointed out to my brother that she was wrapping his bandage in “Dodger’s Blue,” which delighted my brother. The relief in all of this as an advocate for my brother brought me to tears. My brother has had to endure so much. Having Christina H. treat my brother with such compassionate professionalism AND to have her be a “sharp shooter” who made this blood draw his easiest ever is absolutely priceless! Thank you from the bottoms of both of our hearts. Needless to say, the next time my brother needs blood work done, we will return to LabCorp in San Dimas, and we will request Christina H. Because of this experience, I think that my brother will not only NOT be anxious going into his next blood draw, he will probably be looking forward to getting to return to see Christina H again!”

“I specifically only come to this Quest location and it's to see Juliette. All other staff have been great to me as well but Juliette is amazing. I do not like getting blood drawn at all and she has made the experience so much better for me each time I've seen her. She talks me through it each time and makes sure I'm ok through the whole process. In fact, I just got many vials taken the other day and between my anxiety and the amount of blood taken I began to pass out. Juliette was so quick to get me everything I needed and made sure she stayed with me until I felt better. Added bonus that I've never once felt her stick the needle in, because she's just that darn good. 10/10”

“A surprisingly pleasant experience! I’ve never felt motivated to write a review for a medical lab, but this place is different. The building is modern and extremely well kept. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The wait time wasn’t bad at all, considering they are “walk in” only. Places like Quest might be more convenient with online scheduling and multiple locations, but I’ll be coming back here in the future.”

“I've been visiting their Sun Lab for over ten years and usually check their schedule before showing up. Because of the community's popular location, workers go out of their way to accommodate a large number of walk-ins. They maintained the place nice; there were no thrills here. Because of the wide range of individual circumstances, nurses must probe several times to acquire a successful blood sample. On a good day, in and out time is less than 15 minutes.”

“Although walk in wait time maybe long (which is usually with every Quest) it was soooo extremely worth it. I have always had problems with blood work, but they were able to get it done so fast and painless. I’m so used to being stabbed multiple times by the needle from other places, but this was honestly life changing. Will be coming here for every future blood work appt.”

“I had to get blood work done for my annual physical and there were 3 choices: the Upland, Pomona, or Anaheim office. I was in the area and had already fasted so I chose the Upland office. I was told by my doctor that they don't accept appointments so just walk in. The office is small and holds about 10 people. The wait was about 10 minutes which was fine with me. I was able to find a seat and wait.”

“I didn’t make an appointment but the staff is fast, friendly, and efficient so I was in and out very quickly. I got have Yesi draw my blood. I literally didn’t feel anything no pain just smooth like butter and before I knew it she was done. When I had to come back for a follow up they let me request her to draw me again and it was she was just like the first time, pain free and professional. Everyone there is helpful and I feel Chino is lucky to have Labcorp here and especially that staff.”
