I can’t tell you how many times I have walked and drove past this pottery shop without stopping in, and now I totally regret I hadn’t all these years! They have so many different types of pots, plants and fountains. Everything is also very reasonably priced. I’ve been searching everywhere for a specific type of pot for our entry way and found it right away. The gentleman who helped us were so nice and down to earth. We will definitely be back to get more!!”

“Lunch at Farmhouse at Roger's Gardens is always lovely. The gardens are beautiful. My burger was huge and delicious. My husband enjoyed his cobb salad but the chicken was dry. I noticed that when I had a salad with chicken on another visit. Everything except the chicken was excellent. Just don't order chicken.”

“They love their plants there. It's not like when you go into home Depot and you see a bunch of half dead plants that they're just thrown away. And home Depot takes care of their plants way better than Costco. I don't think Costco even bothers to water the plants they have for sale”

“I just had the best customer service experience and had to give a huge shoutout to Brian! His level of service is beyond impressive and truly stands out—something you won’t find in 99% of stores. He went above and beyond: he offered to clean the saucer I was buying, gave me a discount because it had a small chip, and even used a Sharpie to cover it up! Brilliant move. He suggested I could touch it up with black nail polish if I had some, offered paper to wrap it in, and even delivered it to my car! Talk about exceptional service. “I enjoy the convenience of going to this Home Depot based on the location, but if there is a Home Depot in the local area that will be out of stock of an item, Costa Mesa will be the first to be out of stock. Also, the buy more save more discounts online are not in the store, so it's better to shop online than in the store. I don't know of another retailer that competes so heavily against their Rick and mortar employee run stores.

On the plus side, the check-out associates are generally courteous and quick at moving people through lines. The floor staff in each department are a bit thinned out and often busy with several other people vying for their attention.”

“Devil Mountain Nursery is one of the best wholesalers! The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus the amount of plants available is amazing. When I need to check availability or prices they quickly get that information. And if they don't have the plant available they often try their best to source it. All around great experience. Please note that as a wholesaler, they are not open to the public so normal consumers who want to purchase from them needs to have a contractor.”

For the most part, they are helpful and knowledgeable. I am mainly, however, writing this review to acknowledge an exemplary employee, who turned negative things around and made my latest visit a very positive appointment.The story of that visit.As excellent as Home Depot is, there, is one issue, however, that has failed to improve over the years, and that is communication by phone. I have had multiple phone, call, disconnects, and people who were not knowledgeable that should not have been answering the phone to give advice or information. Case in point. I drove to my local Home Depot in Mission Viejo, California, yesterday morning, just before they opened at 6 AM. I was trying to find out information about their Christmas tree lot, a place where we have purchased our trees through the years, and been extremely satisfied with the quality and variety of the trees they have there a lot. As I approach the area with a lot was, I saw no signs outside, showing the times that they were opened, so I decided to call (not wanting to get out of my car on the cold morning and go inside. The automated system gave me multiple hangups, so I decided to wait until a later time. I called again at seven, and then again at eight, but could not reach any live person. I eventually did have someone answer the phone call, but I could not understand him, nor could he understand me. He transferred me to customer service, that ended up being a warranty Department at another location. The woman was helpful, and she gave me information; however, the information was incorrect. She told me that the lot would be opened at 6 AM, which was not true, and she also told me that there would be a new Monday morning delivery of fresh trees, but that they would not be offloaded until Tuesday morning, so I should just wait patiently until the next day.My better judgment, and my knowledge of how the workers at the Christmas tree lot are always ready to offload and always ready to help prompted me to visit the lot in person at 1 PM on Monday. Ali greeted me, asked if he could help, and told me that they were at that moment, offloading the delivery that it just came in. he was only able to pick out an excellent tree for me, but he on the car, gave suggestions about taking it off the car. When I got home, apologize for the incorrect information I had received earlier, and sent me on my way, another successful Home Depot visit, successful only because of an employee who, at this busy pre-Christmas time, chose to go above and beyond.”
