“Review of restaurant week dinner. Overall: this restaurant is excellent, inviting, romantic, and fun, esp. with the garden to visit. The staff is outstanding and attentive. The restaurant week menu was as usual thoughtful and eclectic. The "amuse" was a nice addition with the excellent pickled beets and carrot soup. Yes, this was a tease as we could have eaten much more than we received. The arugula salad was very tasty with an interesting combination of root veggies and cara cara orange. We could have indulged in a lot more of it. The barramundi (Panko, Dijon and Thyme Rubbed Local Barramundi - koda farms brown rice "risotto", roast butternut squash, carrots, cipollini onions, sugar snap peas, spinach, tangerine jus, salsa verde) was excellent cooked and the various veggies prepared with it were delicious. The Grilled Three Mustard Rubbed Prime Culotte Steak was very tough and the mustard rub was not detected because it was overpowered by the very rich port sauce. The Persimmon and Purple Sweet Potato Bread Pudding - red flame raisins, toasted walnuts, white chocolate orange sauce, marshmallow creme was "to die for" according to my spouse. For a chocolate lover, it really was good and we are going to try to find a way to make it when we have a lot of persimmons. If you are looking for healthy, this must be viewed as an indulgence as the butter and cream and sugar in various dishes is abundant. If your interest is in traditional tastes with known ingredients, this is probably not your place unless you want to branch out a bit and try some creative preparations.”

We were very lucky that Bill offered us a helping hand. He designed and helped us to rebuild our backyard, foreyard and courtyard. Bill is a very responsible person and cares every detail in his design. He came to my backyard almost everyday after work to make sure the construction 100% matching his design goal. Now our family enjoy the completely new world, a backyard in harmony with nature and mountains. Great design Bill!”

All the seasonal stuff you could want all of the house plants it’s also located on PCH easy access, so yes I love it.”

“Devil Mountain Nursery is one of the best wholesalers! The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus the amount of plants available is amazing. When I need to check availability or prices they quickly get that information. And if they don't have the plant available they often try their best to source it. All around great experience. Please note that as a wholesaler, they are not open to the public so normal consumers who want to purchase from them needs to have a contractor.”

“very large inventory and naturally a lot of industry workers are souricng equpiment/tools in this area. I had two visits in the smae day - the first visit was Ok and I needed assistance with some air compressor tools and the Home depot employee said "No one really knows anything about that stuff, maybe come back another day". I was shocked that he basically didn't try to ask anyone for help or take a jab at learnign something to sharpen his own knowledge. Nonetheless - I figured it out or so I thought and purchased my parts. I went back a few hours later at 915PM (rgiht before closing) and AJ, a young man who was working helped me for almost fifteen minutes to resolve the compatability issue I had with male/female plugs and couplers in the air compressor aisle. Without hesitation, he was patient, helpful, and glad to help me resolve my dilemma. If the managers are reading this, get more employees like AJ, people like him are the reason I'd come back to Home Depot. My visit was on 2/16/22 at 9pm if that helps find which AJ. haha”

“His huge gift shop and pottery shop is amazing!!! When I come to Laguna I always stay in the downtown area and go south. However. I went to och turned right and within a few blocks I stumbled upon this true find!!!! Met Gary the owner and he couldn't have been more pleasant. First the prices of these outdoor and indoor gifts are incredibly inexpensive! And I promise if you go there looking for something original and lovely for a gift or for you, you will find it!!! And you will want to return because there is too much to see on your first trip. I've already planned to visit for several birthday presents. Parking is either on the PCH which is limited or off side streets next to the store. I'm sure it can be a challenge but it is so worth it. Kid you have to walk some blocks once you visit the place you won't care. Do yourself a favor and make this place a shop you will return to, again and again!!!!”
