“I rarely need to go to the post office anymore but when the need arises there is no better post office than this one. In fact, this is the rare post office that I'd give more than one star to. Located in a woodsy area in Trabuco Canyon (across from O'Neill Park), you half expect to see an old man in a rocking chair smoking a corn cob pipe and whittling a piece of wood near the front entrance. But it's a modern post office on the inside with a service counter, mailing supplies, greeting cards and an abundance of PO boxes. I came to mail a box of gifts to another country. I walked in to find the place completely empty. I rang a service bell on the counter and a voice from somewhere in the back announced they'd be there in a moment. The postmaster quickly arrived and took care of my mailing plus I purchased some Christmas stamps. She was very friendly and provided great customer service, carefully making sure my customs form was properly filled out. By the time I drove away I was amazed that still no other customers were to be seen. Most people dream of a post office experience like this. If you are anywhere near Trabuco Canyon your dreams can come true.”

“i normally HATE the post office and i never write reviews but today i decided to. been to this location probably 5 times (it's not the closest one to me) but every time i go in is such a good experience. the people who work in there are so nice and helpful. i know absolutely nothing about mailing things and have anxiety every time i need to mail something out. but the men in there make me feel comfortable and always help me out. skip the dana point location and drive the extra mile or two. thanks guys!”

“I've only had good experiences here and after today I thought I would spend my short waiting time to leave them a note. Here is why: -The staff is always super helpful and nice. -I got my passport here a few years ago with an appt. - super easy. - I walked in right at 5pm today and the doors weren't closed and they didn't turn me away. The manager was starting to close and asked how to help me with a weird shipping question. - this location takes debit and credit cards now! So happy that I was able to use this location again.”

“5 star experience. There were about a dozen people and one attendant. Probably because the republicans voted to decrease their wages even though the USPS is the only government entity that is self sustaining. As I was waiting in line a roving attendant walking around helping people at the kiosks asked me if she could help. Gladly I accepted and within less that a minute my package was processed and I was on my way! Thank you USPS for today and the last 250 years of no subsidies.”

Additionally, I send so much love to the employees at this location, especially since certain customers can be so lousy and with bad manners, being so mean and taking it out on the people that work here. “Our children needed passports and was happy RSM had a place to start the process. Making an appointment online was easy and quick. I read reviews before coming so I’d know where to go and any helpful information to make it smooth with two small children. I was horrified by the reviews and arrived expecting the worst! We arrived and a man working was very helpful and directed us to the seating area. A woman came and I was prepared to have a grumpy woman working with us. Instead came a happy, smiling and helpful, Pamela. She was a delight and wonderful to work with. I must of lucked out as the normal lady that works there was not available. Thank you a million, PAMELA! Overall, a beyond wonderful experience and in and out in 20 minutes. Tip: have multiple check readily available, thank goodness I brought our check book with us!”
