“This place is great! My guy Tulsi is the man, he was extremely helpful with getting us through the process of renting a unit and helped me out tremendously through the process. Cannot recommend a better storage place with excellent customer service.”

“This is an extraordinary moving company -superior service like no other. Words fall short from how hard these guys work. Very orchestrated in how they operate. We had a 4 man crew pack and move us 115 miles inside of California. They were prompt, polite, skilled, kind, and so pleasant to be with. This team makes one of the most onerous processes actually fun. Reasonably priced, and worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and hire this company for your next move. It'll be stress-free, professionally managed, and you will end up with no scratches, nothing broken, and your house in perfect shape.”

“I recently rented a small storage unit to hold several boxes and some camping gear that I needed to store temporarily. About a month ago, the building had a sprinkler leak and there was a very slight amount of water on the floor of my unit. I was contacted promptly and encouraged to come check out my belongings. Fortunately, most of my items were in plastic tubs or were items not affected by moisture (camping cots, etc). The company that did the water cleanup/disinfecting repacked the items that were in cardboard boxes into brand new boxes for me. I compare this with another storage unit in RSM that I rented for several years. They had a significant flood that put several inches of water in my storage unit. I had to take a day off work to come clean and repack everything myself. Their staff seemed annoyed that I had a lot of questions about my damaged items. I didn't end up getting any sort of compensation, and they raised my rate right after the incident. Glad to have found a better storage facility!”

“Went in the office to discuss my bill. I made a mistake paying my bill through the app. Tina & Howard (sorry if I got your name wrong!) & the nice customer service lady I spoke to on the phone with were wonderful!! They were able to take off a couple of fees I got as a result. Thank you guys so much!! I HIGHLY recommend this Public Storage!!”

“Friendly staff they always go the extra mile to help you out. Units are very large and they don't raise the rent every other month like alot of the other places. In fact their rates are very reasonable. My only complaint is that the gate hours could be longer. Other than that I have had my unit for several years now and I am very happy with the U - Store on Front St in Lake Forrest.”

“Great rates! but the service is so personal they'll let you know if you spent too much time in the bathroom or working on straightening out your storage or have thrown too many ashtray fulls of cigarette butts into their dumpsters. They close at 5pm but don't try to get into the mirrorless bathroom after 4pm.Update. 1/21 the bathrooms have been closed for a year because of the pandemic. So you can't even wash your hands if you wanted to. They used to have an outside spigot near the office where you could get a little water for that purpose or whatever, but about a month ago they replaced that outside spigot & informed customers they were no longer allowed to use the water there either. So, no bathrooms no sinks no outside water source. Seems like a classic mistake during a 'wash hands often' recommended, pandemic.Although I'm seeing many people throw all sorts of things from mattresses to armoires to boxes full of clothing into the dumpsters that are in back of every building, I was told recently I couldn't throw a bag of trash from my car into their dumpsters without paying the dumpster fee of $45 or something close to that. Pretty sure the only people to pay are the ones that get caught who aren't on the good old boys list, and the ones silly enough to ask. Dumpster trucks come and empty those units on a regular basis whether they're near empty or full. There are fluorescent lights on 20 minute timers in the hallways but not in the storage units or rooms themselves. So if you have a deeper unit or one which is not near a door or exit I recommend bringing headlamps in order to find your way around or in case you are longer than 20 minutes in uour cave. And make sure your batteries are charged before you get there. There are electrical outlets conveniently placed throughout the buildings, but no one has permission to actually use the electric for any purpose whatsoever, except the people that do, for reasons one can only presume is because they're paying for it. Which is interesting because, when asked if paying for it was an option, I was told 'definitely not'. But even if payjng for the electricity was an option, the receptacles are non-typical three-prong keyed twist-locks for which you would need an adapter to get to a standard 3 prong receptacle that is normal household standard. And they close at 5pm, not 5:30pm as domeone mentioned. The good thing is sometimes the gate will be open before 9:00 like around 8:30 maybe, but there's no commitment to open sooner than 9am. So standard workday hours 7 days a week, except for the usual holidays.”
