“The Presidio Officers’ Club is located at the main post of the Presidio on the opposite end of the parking lot from the Visitor’s Center. It has been many uses over the years, today it is a great space to enjoy an elegant meal or plan an event. It's also a great place to spend an afternoon taking in the historic and artistic exhibits on display. They have helpful and knowledgeable docents working there to guide you through the Heritage Gallery Museum. There is a large ballroom where you can rent out for parties and weddings. This a nice place to add to your itinerary if you are interested in the history of the presidio.”

“Very 'downtown scene' basement club vibe. We went for guitarist/singer Maurice Tani and Low-Bar Corale- a portland based rock participatory sing-a-long - between the amazing skill of the leader, Ben - and the world class musicians, it was a show that way outperformed the cozy and very pleasant downtown club feel. Ie. This particular show could have been at the opera house.

“Bimbo's is fantastic! It's such a small and intimate venue. The sound was great. The margaritas were excellent. It was lots of fun mingling with people. I would love to see more shows there.”
“Staff are great, specifical team the checked me in at late afternoon helpful, and pleasant, and well organized. I found it welcoming and lobby area had plently if information abiut sites and places to eat in the area, with everything posted in a engaging fun way, yet profession and lobby and hallways very clean. Did a walk around inspection of the kichen, dinning/common area, bathroom, TV area and everything was exteremly clean and well cared for. I stayed in 5 room (3 others besides myself) and room was clean. Llinens offered were professional laundered and I like new/perfect condition. Many noteable San Fransico sites I found to be within a 1-2 walkable distance. I will definitely stay here when I must travel SF for medical appointments, and recommend to others! Must appreciation to the hard-working staff.”

“Even though this little piece of heaven is right off Sir Francis Drake Blvd, it is tranquil and quiet. The gardens are gorgeous, event space is flexible, and parking is ample. You can visit for events throughout the year that are open to the public and also join Pixie Park for littles now that it's been redone!”
“The San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 is one of the best kept secrets in the area. It is located in a funky old mansion that used to belong to Local Socialite & Arctic Explorer, Louise Boyd. The house is packed with Edwardian touches and history, a huge professional grade kitchen can prepare meals for any size function, there is an inside ballroom, and a huge outdoor events area. Many families take advantage of the swimming pool. Dues are reasonable and the benefits you receive in return outweigh any expenses.”

“We’re a family of 4 and stayed at the argonaut for a few night visiting San Francisco in august. Overall, we had a very good experience. The beds are comfortable, the double quin room we got was roomy and the room had a nice design (but the view was practically not relevant). The hotel location is excellent with many cafes and restaurants around and the hotel staff was very accommodating and very helpful. We recommend this hotel.”
“Local event space designed by Bernard Maybeck as a club house, built in 1984 out of local redwood, It's a wonderfully intimate event space that's great for everything from the Mill Valley Film Festival to weddings to business meetings. It has a full commercial kitchen with all the amenities, bathrooms, indoor and outdoor spaces with heaters.”
“Just joined this club and can’t believe I haven’t found out about this place earlier. Fantastic ambiance, great staff and awesome food. It’s the perfect place to host friends as well as clients or simply to meet cool new people.”
“Over the years I have had many memorable meals and enjoyed exceptional events at this beautiful club. However, an incident on Friday night was beyond the pale. Three of us (2 Asian women and a Caucasian man) were chatting and laughing next to the dessert table at the seafood buffet. I was in a blue cocktail dress, our host in a dinner jacket, and our friend was dressed in black. A member, Mrs. Miller, barged in on our conversation glaring us, shouting "What is this, a cocktail party? My husband still waiting for his coffee!" The three of us were shocked and as our jaws hit the ground, she continued, "Don't you work here?!" I managed to blurt out "No!" Mrs. Miller stormed off without her coffee. A bit later, staff who witnessed this confrontation apologized to us and said this was normal for this particular member. I hope someone reports her to the club and she gets called out on her racism. Even if I had been staff, abusing the people who work there cannot be acceptable. She ruined an otherwise wonderful evening.”
“Slide Ranch could not be a more beautiful location, and there are numerous ways to engage with nature. The educational opportunities for children are also wonderful, and Slide Ranch is a great spot for kids' summer camps and school visits (my children have loved it). Highly recommend a visit.”

“Have held two events at the Corinthian. Can't say enough. In each case the Corinthian was a dream venue. The setting can not be topped. The ballroom is beautiful, and the view from the club is breathtaking. The food was excellent. The staff both before the event and during the event itself could not have been more helpful, particularly the club manager John Nicolai ([email protected]). I would highly recommend this venue.”

Having been a guest at many events All Season have catered both on the property and at private homes and venues throughout Marin, I can honestly say they are our first choice for top notch catering in Marin and the East Bay. Considering hosting my milestone birthday at their relatively new on site outdoor spaces...something they are excited to offer clients after many rennovations and a change of ownership to the property has finally opened these beautiful vistas to events. “This is a very conveniently located golf course in the city, with plenty of parking and a very good driving range. I am not too excited about the artificial grass turf at the range, but, overall, as they say, the best course is the one you use all the time. And I do like the accessibility and convenience. I am also probably one of few who actually likes the fog and less sun. So, this is a perfect location for me. I have also taken several lessons here and found them all to be outstanding. I feel like I have improved my game here and I highly recommended this course, especially the driving range.”

The instructor is very professional with the kids guidance to dance, listening and multiple activities to enjoy Ballet classes. Sometimes my daughter prefers two classes a day, this says A Lot how much kids can spend time and meet other classmates. Thank you for all you do Tutu School !!!”
